THINGS TO KNOW

Please note an important update regarding beach access: The access point is temporarily closed due to erosion. A beach restoration project is actively underway to repair the area, but we do not have an estimated reopening date at this time.

**Notice: Sand renourishment work will be ongoing on the beach nearby from Mid-July through Mid-September. Beach is open but will have some construction areas and obstructions.

It was perfect except the code to the pool was incorrect… Waited for customer service and they kept giving us the wrong code… three hour later a nice lady who stayed there told us the correct code. Other than that we will stay again love the location and it was very clean.

We had a great stay here in spite of the beach dredging project which limited the beach access. The condo was spacious with great views.

The property was as listed. It checked all our boxes. We tried checking in at the wrong gate but once we were pointed in the right direction check in was a breeze. Floors needed a good cleaning but overall everything else was clean. Kitchen was well stocked and once we figured out the oven eyes things went smoothly. Writing on eye controls are rubbed off which made things tricky. The walk to the beach was a bit challenging due to the beach restoration but the pipe was removed the night before we left. We love all the conch and other shells that the beach had to offer. The pool was nice and was sunny in the mornings and shaded in the late afternoon. We will definitely be back!

Stayed here for a girls weekend and had a wonderful time! The condo was very clean and as described online. You absolutely cannot beat the incredible ocean view. I could sit out on that balcony all day! The only thing I would recommend is having the shower drains snaked by a plumber every few months to prevent the water from stopping up. No other complaints, would definitely stay here again.

Our only disappointment was that there was no beach access due to erosion. The beach has been locked off since November but that was not mentioned in the listing. It was a cool, rainy week so it was not a big impact.

We loved staying in this unit. It was clean and exactly like the photos. Two issues which is why we didnt give an excellent rating-there was a major air conditioner problem. At first the managing company was responsive and it was “fixed” for a day. Then I reached out to let them know it was blowing hot. Not as responsive and it took 24 hours for someone to come with me constantly reaching out. It was 85 degrees in the condo over night. It was then fixed and it was totally fine after that. Also the description says basketball net. There is not a court or net that we could find. Also no direct beach access right now was a minor inconvenience but it would have been so much better with direct access.

The beach view and balcony were amazing! We weren’t aware the beach access would be closed, so that made for a bit of a trek with 4 little kids. Would have been nice if that was noted or we knew beforehand. The condo itself was great, plenty of space for the whole family. We never got the dryer to work, so just hung up anything we washed to dry. There also weren’t any flat baking sheets, so we had to improvise. Also, we didn’t realize we wouldn’t have access to the large pool and other parts of Wild Dunes. Other than those minor things, we loved the condo. Communication from the host was great and we enjoyed our stay!

Unfortunately, we had to wait all day to check in, after our flight arrived at 10:30AM. We were told that they'd let us know if it was ready early. We received an unclear text around 3:30, and when we arrived a little before 4P, it still wasn't ready. We had to wait until almost 5 to actually get settled-in. The cleaning people need to check behind furniture for dust and also clean lamps, pictures, etc. The view is lovely and pool very peaceful.
