Our stay was amazing. Easy communication with the host and checking in was spot on. Beds were super comfy and loved watching the birds at the Seabird sanctuary everyday. Lovely views of the beach as well as the intercoastal with a few lightening storms thrown in for evening entertainment. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and since we have stayed at Beach Cottage for many years, we once again enjoyed ourselves immensely. Thank you!

Very nice accommodations. The luggage trolly made getting you luggage from your vehicle to your unit convenient and the shopping carts also made getting your groceries for the week a breeze from your car to your unit. The parking spaces are not in numerical order. The parking space for this unit is under the second entrance for building 1 at the far end just steps to the beachfront gate. No need to unload all your beach equipment just pick it up from your vehicle when you’re ready to go out to the beach! Nice view of the ocean from the spacious balcony. Unit is equipped with everything you need for an at home experience. Would definitely recommend this unit.

Thank you for the thoughtful review. We’re glad the luggage trolley and shopping carts made arrival and groceries easy, and that the assigned parking near the beachfront gate was convenient for your beach gear. It’s wonderful the spacious balcony and ocean view — and that the unit had everything you needed for an at‑home experience. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back to Beach Cottage 1403.

We loved our stay at Casago. The condo was exactly what we needed. The living room and kitchen are spacious and comfortable. The view was lovely with both the seabird sanctuary in the foreground where birds nested in the trees around the sanctuary and there was a feel of old Florida as well as vegetation and bird song. There was a castle style building in the background framed by the Gulf of Mexico and the Blue Sky. The furnishings were comfortable. There was only one set of keys which made it difficult since the closest beach access did not have a key pad. However, the property managers were responsive and brought items that were missing in a timely fashion. Would recommend a set of mixing bowls be added to the kitchen. Would definitely stay here again. Our only real disappointment was that the pool was tiny and crowded as was the hot tub. We stayed in the building last October as well and the pool was closed then and they gave us access to a larger pool and hot tub at a building next door. That would have been great this time. The amount of children and families in the pool and hot tub made it so we never actually got to enjoy those amenities.

Thanks for choosing Beach Cottage and for your thoughtful review. It’s great to hear the setting and comfortable furnishings helped create that relaxed, old-Florida feeling with the birdlife all around. We’ve passed along your notes to the team — we’re adding a set of mixing bowls, reviewing key and keypad options, and exploring access to a larger pool when possible so guests can better enjoy the amenities. We’d welcome you back.

Quick getaway with family coming from different areas of Florida. Great location, beautiful beach, close to great restaurants. Unit was very spacious & kitchen was well appointed. Awesome blender for the perfect Pina coladas! There were 5 of us & there was plenty of room! We had a great time!

Overall the condo itself was decent. The kitchen was big and functional, nice amount of plates and cups. Master BR and bath was spacious and functional. Having 3 beds in the second bedroom fit my kids very nicely. The pool area was very lacking. For such a humungous space, the pool is very small and got crowded quickly. The large brick area has no walkways or shaded areas so in the midday heat you literally are burning your feet walking from a chair to the pool. We flew from then Philadelphia area so it was nice having some things to take to the beach (chairs, umbrella, etc) but most are in poor shape. I left my AirPods and the team was very responsive and I was able to get them mailed back to me very promptly. The responsiveness from team was great overall. - There was a smell upon entry and in dining area throughout - had to buy air freshener - smells musty- No trashcans in rooms/master bathroom used grocery bags - No usb/usc charger in master bedroom as stated in the description - Dirty toothpick floss on bunk bed - Hairs in sheets and on comforters - Roku remote in living room is not paired to tv or doesn’t work - Light above microwave doesn’t work - Kitchen is poorly stocked - no everyday things like foil or covered food storage containers - had to buy, Vegetable peeler looked to be 40 years old and barely functioned. - one of the hair dryers in master bath doesn’t work - need to get rid of it -no hand soap in any of the bathrooms had to buy

We appreciate you choosing Beach Cottage and for the clear feedback. It’s great to hear the layout worked well for your family and that our team was able to get your AirPods returned quickly. We’ve shared your notes with our housekeeping and maintenance teams and are addressing the items you flagged — replacing worn beach gear and kitchen supplies, adding trash bins and bedside charging, pairing the Roku remote, fixing the light and hair dryer, restocking soap and basics, and checking linens. We’ll also evaluate options for more shade and safer walkways around the pool. We hope to host you again.

Needs some updates!!

The location is perfect! Loved the pool and beach access! Inside furnishings were very uncomfortable and outside table and chairs need replaced. Love the layout of the condo and the kitchen was fully stocked. Great appliances too! Some of the closet doors were hard to open and close. We would rent again due to the location, pool and beach access!!

Indian Shores Trip

The condo is very nice and we enjoyed staying there with plenty of room as there was only 2 of us. Everything in the condo was in good condition...no issues there and access to beach was great. We did have some difficulty on arrival with locking the door with the code but figured it out and no further problems, just slow to lock after entering the code...and our condo didn't have a screen on the lock pad as stated in the instructions. Overall, great stay and location.

I’ve stayed in the Beach Cottages numerous times. You can tell this condo is owned by a rental agency as it lacked the personal touches of one actually privately owned. The beach chairs and towels were nice to have on site. I do have to say the kitchen table was broken and not usable during our stay but we managed. Overall your typical condo for a Florida beach vacation.

Nice condo. Quiet location

Overall the condo is very nice. A few areas could use some detail on cleaning. A list of posted tips would be helpful, like the pool access is by the elevators on the 1st floor, where the 2 beach access gates are. You have to wander around the complex to find everything. Nice to have the beach chairs and extras in the closet. Deck is relaxing and the area as a whole is quiet.

Great location!

Beautiful beach with view of the sunset from our balcony corner. Bird rescue next door was very interesting to watch as well. Pool was heated which was great since the weather was a bit cooler. The only issue we had was trying to get in the front door. It requires a code we weren't given (different from the condo door code) which made it difficult to get in the first night. Fully stocked kitchen items made cooking easy.

Needs some TLC

The property is safe and beach access is great. Overall the condo needs maintenance. Many things inside are just on the verge of breaking and it would be nice if the filter in the a/c and fridge were clean, if the commode did not have a leaking crack, the air flow in the second bedroom was effective at all. I would stay here again if the condo receives some TLC.

Nice condo

The condo was great. It has a large kitchen and living area. The beach access was perfect. My only issue was with check in. The doors to the elevators and stairs are locked at all times and we had no way to get inside to our condo. The keys to access all doors were locked in our room. The directions for the code to enter the condo were not correct either. If you choose to stay here I would make sure you talk to the owner to clarify the check in process. The Vacasa rep was extremely helpful.

Absolutely loved this condo

Clean. Lots of room. Pool and hot tub are warm. Beach access directly from pool area, and another one at the end of property. We actually enjoyed the bird sanctuary next door. Beautiful view of the ocean and intercoatsal water. Lots of unique restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Although the parking directions say there are guest spots, we could not find them... Would not recommend this for very small children, only because of all the glass tables. But well behaved kids will enjoy! I was overjoyed that the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed as far as cookware, plates, cups, utensils, blender, etc. Will definitely be booking with teeming vacation rentals again! We didn't even want to leave. Indian Shores is one of the most beautiful areas we've ever been!

a place needs some good cleaning and remodeling

The unit is old and few things were broken once we checked-in. Try walking barefoot on the floor and you'll start wondering when was the last time it had a wash. The location is great because of the beach and restaurants nearby but a bird sanctuary next door produces nasty smell that spoils it a bit despite our love for nature. The unit is large, however, with a great balcony and a view which offsets some negatives. Sharing 1 key among 4 people with every door locked on premises is a major inconvenience too. Just fix the unit, streamline check-in process (our lockbox didn't have a key), give more keys to guests and it will be 5 star place to stay
