Relax and recharge at Oar & Anchor Lakehouse, a cozy lakefront retreat located just blocks from State Beach and only minutes from downtown Clear Lake. Enjoy a bright, comfortable space with a full kitchen and plenty of room to gather. Sip coffee on one of three decks, grill with a view, or unwind by the fire pit. Whether you're boating, beach-hopping, or simply slowing down, it’s the perfect Clear Lake getaway.

Inside, you'll find a welcoming layout designed for easy lake living. The home features a fully stocked kitchen, spacious living and dining areas, Wi-Fi, and smart TVs.

The home accommodates up to 10 guests, with a maximum of 8 adults. The layout is ideal for families and groups traveling together, with a variety of sleeping arrangements across multiple levels. The upper level includes a primary suite with a king bed and private bath, plus a second bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom just across the hall. There is also a semi-private sleeping space on the main level featuring a twin daybed, providing additional flexibility for guests.

On the lower level, the third bedroom features a twin-over-full bunk bed and an additional twin bed. The lower-level family room also offers a queen pullout sofa.

Each bedroom is furnished with soft linens, extra pillows, and thoughtful touches to help you feel at home. Towels and hair dryers are provided, along with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

The fire pit is available for your enjoyment, and firewood can be purchased at local stands or grocery stores. Guests appreciate the comfortable layout, beautiful lake views, and convenient location close to downtown, beaches, and restaurants. With a family-friendly design, modern amenities, and plenty of space to spread out, Oar & Anchor Lakehouse is the perfect place to anchor down and enjoy Clear Lake.

Guests will have access to the entire home, including use of the dock. The renter is responsible for any damage occurring to any boat or the dock resulting from tying up to the dock structure. No overnight boat parking is allowed. There is space to park a trailered boat in the driveway.

Very nice home on the lake. Enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings on the deck. Close to downtown and the beach. Nice neighborhood to walk and ride bikes in. Had a great vacation here!

It was absolutely wonderful. The house was perfect for what we wanted - a place to gather in a beautiful venue with an incredible view of the lake. There were lots of spaces to break into conversational groups. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. The hosts went out of their way to try and get us in early for weary travelers who needed naps. There was one issue they addressed immediately by calling a plumber on a Sunday. It was taken care of within the hour. Hosts were very responsive.We would go back. We loved it!

The property was beautiful and very clean on the inside. Overall there were two things that prevented a 5 star rating for our group. First their food took up all the space in the refrigerator doors and one drawer of the freezer. Had we been staying for longer we would have needed that space especially with the bags of ice we purchased for boating. Second, upon check out we not only required to stripall the beds we slept in and take the sheets to the laundry room in the basement we were told to empty garbages in the bathrooms. There is a lot to pack up and get ready before a 10:00Check out time and I feel that if I am paying a cleaning fee I shouldn’t have to do those extras. We had bikes, boating stuff and our regular gear to pack up and personally this just sat wrong with me when I pay a large cleaning fee anyway. Other than that it was a great property and the host communication was really good.

Our Family had a wonderful time. The view was spectacular! The home was just as pictured. It was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The bedding and towels smelled like fresh clean laundry and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. My boys loved being able to fish from the dock. They even caught some yellow bass. I loved drinking my coffee every morning in the peaceful sunroom. I texted the host a few times and received immediate friendly responses. The host had a binder with info about the property and the area, which was very kind and helpful. They recommended a few places to eat and they were right, “The Other Place” was a fun place with great food. My family and I were all in agreement how we can’t wait to go back to enjoy the home and Clearlake.

The house was so clean and fresh. The layout is gorgeous. The kitchen was top notch from the hidden refrigerator and dishwasher to the amazing gas stove. The dining room has the most breath taking view for coffee. Truly each floor of this home had a room with a view of the lake and a balconyto go with it. This was perfect for a ladies last minute getaway to recharge for the upcoming holidays, by the end of the weekend we were moved into summer 2026 plans so we can do it again with the whole family.

Everything about the house was great! It’s lakefront, has a wonderful layout. You feel like you’re in a tree house with a view to the lake. The beds were very comfortable, the house had everything we needed. The kitchen is top notch, although we pretty much just made coffee and did happy hours at the fire pit! There is plenty of space so if you have a larger group, we were 5 adults, you would be very comfortable in this home.
