Great location and hosts

We enjoyed another stay at the barn on Lake Wabaunsee (we think our 5th, but can't remember). The barn has plenty of room for everyone and the kids love swimming off the dock.

Second time we've stayed at this property and it did not disappoint. We had one question for them during our stay and they responded within 5 minutes. Absolutely great location on the lake with helpful hosts who are there for you.

Great place for a family

We have returned to the "barn" for several years for our family gathering. The kids especially enjoy the bunk room and the game room and of course swimming. Owners are very easy to work with.

The location is great... very quiet and restful. Enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed the fact that there are few steps to get to the Lake unlike some of the other properties that we have stayed at this lake. The Barn has great outdoor space with the upstairs deck and the lower patio.

We love Lakeview Barn

We absolutely love Lake Wabaunsee, but this house has been our favorite so far! Beautiful well kept home and yard. Multiple decks for fishing or soaking up the sun. A blackstone grill and beautiful patio for grilling and plenty of space for the whole family. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Nice weekend getaway location during late spring

The property is roomy and had great views of the lake. The AC kept the lower level chilly but we just couldn’t get enough cool air upstairs in the private bedrooms despite the owner’s assistance in optimizing the system flow. The bunkhouse which sleeps a large number of people has its own AC so it was also cool.

Great Family Get Together

The cabin was great for our family with two adult children, their spouses, and three grandchildren. The cabin had "rainy day" activities in the garage that we still played even though the weather was beautiful outside. Access to the water was great and we used the kayaks, brought tubes and a paddle board. Everybody had a great time. We all enjoyed driving the golf cart around the lake. Everybody loved the loft overlooking the lake, especially the hammock! Thanks for the memories!

Beautiful lake setting

We had such a great time last summer we came back again ! It is a perfect set-up for young and old alike with easy access to the dock and water. My son-in-law caught a big catfish off the dock that we had for supper. We all enjoyed rides in the golf cart-- and this year my son checked out the nearby golf course. There is a swimming area across the lake where the grand-kids had a fun time splashing around and playing in the sand. The owners are very pleasant and helpful. After we got home, I realized I had forgotten my favorite pair of flip-flops and Cindy got them back to me. We highly recommend " The Lake View Barn." Janice H. Marion, Ks

Awesome Lake House!

We recently stayed at this property while attending a bicycling event in nearby Emopria. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by our hosts and given a tour of the property. We loved every aspect of the property which is well maintained and meticulously landscaped. The views of the lake are amazing and the waterfront dock and pier are perfect for relaxing on the water and swimming. The large, covered lakeside porch included a bbq grill and a large table and comfy chairs for outdoor dining. The interior is clean, tastefully decorated and notably spacious. The beds were comfortable and adorned with clean, crisp linens. The large attached garage was perfect for the storage of our bikes and gear and contained a second refrigerator/freezer. Also located in the garage is a golf cart which is perfect for touring around the lake. We loved our stay at this beautiful property and hope to return again next year!
