Every inchâfrom floors to furnishingsâis fresh and thoughtfully designed for relaxation.
This home is the original homeplace of Shawnee Run. As an established residence, the home has public water -- no need for a cistern and running out of water is not a concern!
Step inside and unwind in the open living space, featuring cozy seating, an electric fireplace, a smart TV, and large windows framing hillside scenery. The fully stocked kitchen makes cooking easy (or makes a great sit-down spot for take-out). Whether itâs breakfast before a hike or a family dinner by the fire, this kitchen can handle it. A washer and dryer are located off the kitchen and are available for use.
Downstairs, the unfinished basement doubles as your private game zoneâwith air hockey, ping-pong, and cornhole, itâs perfect for friendly competitions on rainy days.

We have lived and worked in Eastern Kentucky, specifically the Red River Gorge area, for 25 years. It is a beautiful place to slow down and enjoy the simple things.

Shawnee Run is easy to get to and close to everything! You are just minutes from The Gorge Underground, Cliffview ziplines, Natural Bridge, Red River Gorge, numerous trails, and all kinds of restaurants. It's the perfect location to get away from it all but also close enough to everything the Gorge has to offer. We also love the beautiful views in Shawnee Run and the open expanse of sky above our cabin on the ridge.
