Vår ikoniska 60-timmarsstuga är en helårsresa med alla moderna bekvämligheter och en unik känsla på landsbygden på 0,9 tunnland. Tidvattenpooler och stenig strand framför stugan. Badmöjligheter framför eller i närheten av sten och sandstränder.

Omkopplande soldäck komplett med Webber BBQ, picknickbänk, paraply på marknaden och gott om sittplatser. Bekväma möbler expansiv utsikt och stor öppen spis. Observera våra bosatta fjädervänner inklusive kala örnar, hägrar, måsar, kungsfiskare, hackspettar, kikadar och junkos.

En vista av majestätiska snöklädda berg, glittrande solljus och långa magenta solnedgångar väntar på dig. Lappande vågor, bosatta sjölejon och vind som suger genom gran-, ek- och arbutusträd ger dig naturens vassande symfoni.

En mysig fristad för att njuta av vinterstormar, drygt en timme från Mount Washington. Kabinens vardagsrum inkluderar välvt tak, glödande träbjälkar, vridmonterad plattskärm HD T. V. välvt tak antik tegel spis med termostatstyrd gasinsats.

Stugan levererar en autentisk atmosfär tillsammans med alla moderna bekvämligheter inklusive tre sovrum (drottning, drottning och våningssäng), ett badrum (badkar / dusch) och ett stort vardagsrum med matsal-kök med fantastisk utsikt.

Från oktober till maj kommer du att se och / eller höra sjölejon som passerar nära stranden dagligen. Detta är en av endast ett fåtal fastigheter på Vancouver Island där du kan sitta inne och njuta av vintersol som reflekterar från havet direkt i stugan hela eftermiddagen till solnedgången.

Köket är välfylldt och vi ber våra VBRO-gäster vänligen byta ut saker som de tappar under sin vistelse.

Beläget i slutet av en cul-de-sac är fastigheten familjevänlig med gott om gräsmatta för boccie, croquet, badminton, frisbee och mer. De ganska gatorna i närheten är idealiska för avkopplande familjevandringar till Beachcomber Park, Beachcomber Marina eller runt "The Point".

Om du föredrar att njuta av allt som Northwest Bay har att erbjuda från vattnet, finns information om lokal kajakuthyrning och guidade turer.

The best cabin EVER!

We absolutely loved this cabin. The way it was decorated made it homey and the gas fireplace made it warm and welcoming. Beds were comfortable. The cabin was stocked with all the cooking gear and other supplies that we needed. But our favorite thing was the view. From the deck in the warmth of the day or from the large window across from the sofa when it was a little chilly outside there were spectacular views of water, mountains, sunsets and wildlife - deer, seals and sea lions, and lots of birds, including a bald eagle who perched in a tree on the property for a while one morning. And yet it’s just a short drive to shops and restaurants if you need them. I’d definitely recommend this property.

Panabode Cabin

A clean & cozy cabin with beautiful evening light and lovely sunsets. Our kids enjoyed playing in the ocean in front of the cabin and swimming to nearby pebble beach. Great deck with lots of sun & big yard for outdoor play.

Relaxing and easy with a breathtaking view

This place is just what you want when you say relaxing vacation.Had great weather and relaxed well in the cabin with everything you need at your fingertips. Comfy beds, easy kitchen and amazing scenery from all directions. Saw the pod of orcas again this year...soooo exciting along with lots of eagles in the tall trees. Played Bocci and Croquet for hours. And love eating dinner every night on the deck at the picnic table rail enjoying that view. We will be back next year. Thanks again!

Lakeside cabin

The cabin was comfortable and had even more amenities than we needed. The tidal pools were great for exploring and learning and the wildlife sitings were a joy to see. Next time, I'll remember to wear socks or pants when walking in the long grass to save my ankles from the gnat bites. We would definitely stay here again!

Nature Therapy

This cabin is in a wonderful setting. We relished hours a day on the semi shaded deck with mountain views beyond the lapping waves, cool breezes, grazing deer and bald eagle sightings. The interior is cozy and kept beautifully. Beds are comfortable. Everything we needed in good working order. We took day trips to Gabriola Island, Cathedral Grove, Milner House and Garden, Coombs, Parksville and Qualicum. Terrific vacation.

Sunny, Relaxing Holiday

We had a lovely second visit to the Pan Abode. We brought our bikes and explored all the public access beaches in the neighbourhood including Wall Beach across the bay. Like last year, the cabin was spotless & the sunsets were beautiful. We all enjoyed the spaciousness of the property and the huge deck - great for reading, eating & playing cards. The children (7 & 11) swam several times a day. Thanks for having us!

We had a great stay. Cabin is clean, and comfortable. The setting on the water is truly amazing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day stay at the cabin...and our first visit to Vancouver Island. The location outside Nanoose Bay is great for exploring the island, although a bit farther from Victoria itself, we spent more time on the nearby beaches and in the forests of the interior. The setting is incredible, private and right on the water with sightings of birds, seals and dolphins...and amazing sunsets. The cabin has everything, including comfortable indoor and outdoor space, and we were very pleased with the layout and available space for the square footage. It is up to date, clean and very comfortable. We hope to return some day.

The perfect getaway

What an amazingly perfect stay we had here! Peaceful, surrounded by nature, gorgeous views, wandering deers, playful sea lions swimming in the distance, close enough to Coombs we could spend a day exploring, close enough to easy hiking trails the whole family could enjoy. This cozy clean cabin was exactly what we needed to unplug and enjoy each others' company! We truly loved everything about it from the deco to the location. Probably the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in in a rental. Communication was also the best I've ever experienced. Thank you Brian for being an 5+ star host!! Thank you for sharing this lovely space, we will be back!!

A Seaside Home Away From Home!

From the moment we arrived at the cabin, we felt comfortable and at home. It felt almost like staying at a family cabin rather than a "vacation rental." The sea life right on the shore of the property was fantastic, and it was warm enough to swim and snorkel right from the property. We also took a two hour kayak tour, which departed from the public beach access a few doors down, so it was very convenient. The cabin was very well equipped, and we were not missing a thing. The yard was great, and very private. Our dog absolutely loved it there. The sunsets and deck were incredible! We saw seals, eagles, vultures and deer right on the property. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone! The owners were fantastic to deal with and answered all questions promptly. We would love to go back!

Throughly enjoyable!

We had a wonderful week at this amazing vintage cabin! Coming from southern Ontario, we would call it a real 'cottage'. Everything is comfortable and quiet and relaxing! We went on a few hikes, played bocci and crochet, built a few puzzles and basked in the sun. We appreciated every single gorgeous sunset along with every other scene throughout the day as it shifted in the prevailing winds, from the huge windows and wrap around deck. We enjoyed all the wild life including a couple eagles swooping down to perch on trees right outside our window. We even got to watch a pod of majestic orcas 'blow' by! The whole place is extra clean, kitchen is fully stocked for cooking, the beds are comfortable and the fireplace is another added bonus. This cabin is very special and we highly recommend it.

Disappointing

The cabin was cluttered and had too many of the owners personal belongings. The night we arrived we were going to BBQ & the igniter on unit didn’t work. Texted owner and no matches or lighter on site, but there might be a battery somewhere to fix it. Cabin heated by a small heater and a fireplace. 2nd day fireplace quit. Could not get it going again despite trying everything owner’s cabin manual suggested as well as what owner suggested by text. Owner said it had happened before. It wa 6 deg. C outside and it was just too cold in tge cabin for us to stay. We left after 2 nights. Had a TV, but no channels or streaming services. No telephone. Owner did not even mention any kind of refund and we didn’t ask.

Cozy Cabin

It's really the details. How beautifully the place is furnished, the friendliness and co operation of the Mann family/owners both add to the coziness. I love all the momentos of their travels around the world. Then Mother Nature takes over and delivers such a huge variety of wildlife right outside the door. Our status as 'visitors' is confirmed.

I was four years old when my parents purchased the land and I have enjoyed it ever since. My wife and I have vacationed here with family and friends for almost 30 years. We have maintained the Cabin's West Coast ambiance while installing all the comforts of home.

This is one of the few properties on the inland coast of Vancouver Island with a southwest sun catching exposure. The Cabin is surrounded by fir, oak and arbutus trees. Enjoy views of mountains and sunlight reflecting off the water until sunset or walk to Beachcomber Regional Park.
