1 sovrum, drottning ny madrass och futon bäddsoffa i vardagsrum, 1 bad, stort vardagsrum och uppdaterad plattskärms-TV och Wi-Fi. Ombyggdes 2018. Ungefär 600 kvadratmeter hem. Fullt utrustat kök, tvärs över gatan där du kan höra och se floden Tellico. Mobiltelefon service för vissa bärare. Detta är ett reträtt för avkoppling och plats att se. Du är i Cherokee National Forest på Highway 165 - Cherohala Skyway. Detta är en vacker naturskön flod, berg äventyr. Detta ligger bredvid Cherokee National Forest. Inom ett stenkast av "The Trail of Tears", öringfiske, vitvattenkajakpaddling och paddling i vanliga fall på vintern och våren med regn. Men sommaren 2018 har vi en överflöd av regn och kajakare himlen. Vacker flodväg eller ta en bergsresa upp Cherohala Skyway. Our visit to Tellico Plains was to go trout fishing. My husband thoroughly enjoyed it. The main road to our fishing area required a detour so we saw sights we wouldnt have otherwise seen. That was a pleasant surprise. Our host was quite accommodating with answering our questions.

Misleading

Drive way a pain to get in and out of 2 houses one drive and small. House older out dated. Inside smelled like cigarettes, mostly in bedroom and living room. Refredgiator leaked and ran in floor.bathroom was updatedt.v. remote didn't work could not get channel s and wifi didn't work.we had only one trowel for 4 days and one wash rag.

Great Spot

Nice rental right near the entrance of the National Forest, and only 2 miles from town for restaurants and shopping. Always enjoy our time here

July at Tellico River

Great view of Tellico River and neighborhood with lots of character, good restaurant up the road and 50s style authentic drive in restaurant nearby. Cabin is roomy and has great bed but spotty internet and worse cell signal. No access to river and road between cabin and river was noisy with motorcycles, sports cars and trucks. Fantastic drive through mountains to North Carolina on Cherohala Skyway. Good cabin for money and friendly owners.

Perfect Weekend Getaway Spot

The cottage is very quaint and the artworks are all originals by one of the property owners. All the essentials were provided. It is very relaxing to sit at the table and visit, play cards, watch streaming movies, etc and listen to the river flowing through the rapids on the other side of the road. The location is very central to all things “Tellico” as we hiked, fished, dined out and even played a round of golf 30 minutes away in Tellico Village. Chilly but still nice. We would recommend this cozy cottage to anyone looking for a nice weekend away from the hustle and bustle as we move back to the previous “norm”.

Excellent

The house was very clean and nice. Water pressure was great. When it got dark it was very quiet. Loved listening to the water from the river across the street. Plenty of room for two people. Great location for where we wanted to go. Close to all the gravel roads/trails. Bed was very comfortable. We were gone from sunrise to sunset so we were thankful the bed was comfy. Wonderful place for a weekend getaway. There was no cable or satellite but there was WiFi. We brought our Roku and had no problems connecting to the internet. Futon was not comfortable to sit or even lay on to watch TV. Maybe an upgrade of the futon or maybe a couch would make this place perfect!

This was a perfect property for our weekend getaway! We went to Bald River Falls & ate at Iron Works Grill. We ended our trip on the Hiwassee River. Great stay & excellent host!

Peace

I spent a week at this wonderful cabin in Tellico Plains. It gave me the peace and solitude I needed at the time. It is a wonderful place where you hear the river day and night.

Great Place

Very clean and comfortable, convenient to everything you would need. We used it as a base for fishing in the park and it is a perfect location, we will be back for sure! My only suggestion is to put an aerator on the kitchen faucet to keep the water from spraying out.

Great vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at this property,. It was at a beautiful location , close to lots of stores , resturaunts. We had a great time, highly recomend this cottage for a vacation get away.

Mountain hide away

Property was clean and adequate for our needs. Bed was very comfortable. No dishwasher, kitchen had enough supplies. WiFi took some rebooting, but got it working. Good value for the money.

Very good getaway with total peace ad quiet.

The property was well maintained with a very comfy bed, I have two somewhat minor disappointments. Viewing the river and listening to it was great, however getting to it was not as great. The property across from the staying location was posted private property. Also, there wasn't any television reception, not always a negative but in this case I wanted to watch the Democratic debates One final note a toaster would have been nice. On a very good note, the owner's parents are staying next door, great people with a lot of life experience to share, we loved them. Overall I would definetely stay again....thanks..Tom and Cherie.

Cherohala Renewal & Retreat

Beautiful area, especially if you do the whole Cherohala Skyway drive. The visitor center was great also. No phone service for AT&T subscribers, unless you drove to town, but I don’t use the phone much anyway so wasn’t a problem. The WiFi was weak, but I was usually able to get texts out without pictures, but you’re in the mountains, so expected.
