Pack your flip flops, soak in the salty air, and unwind at Fin & Tonic, a beautifully designed second-row home in the oceanside community of Dolphin Shores. Thoughtfully furnished with comfort and coastal style in mind, this dog-friendly retreat offers ocean views, a private pool and hot tub, an elevator, and easy access to both the beach and the community fishing dock.
Step inside on the first floor, where youâll find a king bedroom with an en suite bathroom and direct access to the back deck and pool area. Two additional queen bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, and a door in the hallway near these rooms opens to the covered front deck where you can take in the ocean breeze. A laundry room is also located on this level for convenience.
Upstairs, the main living area features an open layout with vaulted ceilings, ocean views, and plenty of cozy seating for gathering at the end of the day. The fully equipped kitchen includes a large island with seating and flows effortlessly into the dining area. Just off the dining space is a small desk area overlooking the ocean â perfect for a quick email check or journaling with a view. Step outside to the covered oceanview deck to sip morning coffee or unwind after the beach. Also on this floor is a spacious king bedroom with an en suite bathroom and access to the shared deck, plus a half bathroom off the main living area.
Outdoor living is where Fin & Tonic really shines. The private pool area features plenty of space to lounge in the sun or relax in the shade, along with a hot tub for evening soaks under the stars. For added peace of mind, the doors leading to the pool area are equipped with safety alarms. Multiple decks throughout the home provide peaceful places to enjoy the ocean breeze and coastal surroundings. Located just a short walk from the community beach access, this home makes it easy to spend your days by the ocean. Guests also have access to the community fishing dock on the sound side â perfect for casting a line, watching wildlife, or enjoying a quiet moment over the water.

CANCELLATIONS -
Any cancellation of a confirmed reservation must be made in writing by Guest. Reservation payments are not reimbursable unless the property can be re-rented for the same rate and time period less non refundable reservation fee, cancellation fee, and third-party fees. CHECK IN DAY DETAILS -
Your rental home allows you to check-in directly at the property. Check-in typically becomes available BETWEEN 4:00 - 6:00 PM on the day of your scheduled arrival. As soon as your rental is ready for check in, we will send you a text message with all of your check-in instructions. Please understand that all homes must be cleaned and inspected before we are allowed to issue access details and you are not allowed to be at the property until you have received that text message.
PREPARING FOR YOUR VACATION -
All our vacation rentals include fully equipped kitchens, basic small appliances (microwaves, coffee makers, toasters), pillows, comforters/bedspreads, television(s) and more! Our vacation homes do not supply consumable items for guest use (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, soap, spices, cleaning products, etc.). Please plan accordingly for any items you may need during your stay.
You are welcome to bring your own linens, or we provide a linens rental service for your convenience. Some homes provide complimentary linens for select dates and this detailed information can be found in the description. Linen package options include BRONZE (bed sheets only per bed listed), SILVER (bed sheets per bed listed, a bath towel set per occupancy, dish towel, and a bath mat per shower/tub), and GOLD (all items from the SILVER package plus one extra bath towel per occupancy).

WiFi: WiFi signal strength is NOT guaranteed at your rental for remote work or remote learning. We are located on a barrier island and do not have cellular towers on the island. This, coupled with the increase of guests in our area, creates an inconsistent cellular signal that is outside of our control and therefore, compensation is NOT given.  Â
Beach Nourishment: Beach nourishment projects help preserve and protect Topsail Islandâs shoreline. Most projects are scheduled annually between November and April and may involve large pipes on the beach, trucks moving sand, and other equipment to rebuild and maintain our dunes. Timelines and locations can shift without notice, and we are not always informed in advance. While we understand this may impact your beach experience, refunds or compensation will not be provided for disruptions related to beach nourishment. For the latest updates, we recommend checking the town websites for Topsail Beach, Surf City, or North Topsail Beach. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions about potential beach impacts during your stay.
Water Pressure Notice: Please be aware that during popular rental dates, especially in the mornings and evenings, there may be temporary reductions in water pressure. This is a common occurrence across the island as many visitors are getting ready for the day or returning from the beach. We recommend planning showers and other water-related activities accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
Public Parking: The Town of Surf City enforces âPay to Parkâ from March 1-Oct 31 from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm in the Surf City Public Beach Access Parking Lots and other marked Public Parking Lots. The Town of North Topsail Beach will enforce âPay to Parkâ from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM year-round. Onslow County operates three public parking areas/beach accesses within the Town of North Topsail Beach. To the best of our knowledge the county intends to continue operating these lots free of charge.
Leave No Trace: Topsail Island enforces a "Leave No Trace" policy in order to protect our shoreline, meaning you must remove all items, including tents and chairs, from the beach each day. Any items left behind are subject to theft, removal by the town, or possibility of being washed away by the ocean.
Turtle Nesting Season: From May to October, Topsail Island is a nesting ground for sea turtles. Be mindful of marked nests, limit oceanside deck lights, and follow local guidelines to protect them.
