Beachfront året runt egendom - Nyrenoverade

Denna Cosey Beach hyra egendom ligger precis vid vattnet, och ligger på en privat sandstrand. OBSERVERA: många listor är bedrägliga, eftersom de visar vattendyn och du får senare reda på att fastigheten ligger tvärs över gatan med "tillgång till stranden". Den här egenskapen är den verkliga affären. Du och dina barn kan simma direkt i min bakgård :-) 4: e juli stads fyrverkerier (vanligtvis lördag före 4 juli för East Haven) lanseras ca 100 ft öster ut över vattnet. Jag inkluderade en bild från det här året!

Omgiven av miljon dollar hus, och med en saltvatten mynning som förhindrar någon konstruktion tvärs över gatan, har denna hyra verkligen en utmärkt plats!

De tre separata sovrummen rymmer upp till 3 par eller en familj på 6 med lika många pojkar / flickor. Båda badrummen har dusch för att påskynda morgonrutinen. Varmvattenberedaren är ny och fungerar effektivt. Det finns central (naturgas) värme, för att snabbt lindra alla kyliga natttemperaturfall. Vi har nu AC!

Fisk (rekommendera högvatten) direkt från bakgården stranden eller intilliggande rock brygga för randig bas, bluefish, blackfish eller flounder. Fånga blå krabbor (min favorit) i saltvatten mynningen över gatan!

Alla attraktioner i New Haven mindre än 15 minuter: Wooster St (Pepe's Pizza), Yale / Peabody Museum, järnvägsstation, nattklubbscen (Club Vandome, Café NIne, Paddans Place).

Loved the property could not find beach chairs for sand, and needed a few more towels even though we brought our own. Otherwise beautiful set up right on the beach!!!!

Great Spot

We had a great time! The house is close to neighbors but the water access still felt private. Neighbors were friendly when we encountered them. The accommodations are everything you’ll need for an extended stay (appliances, dishes, etc.), super close to the public beach (8min walk) and has a couple really good restaurants in walking distance. Groceries, additional shopping, and restaurants are 10min drive away. Perfect location for a waterfront stay.

Good place, but tight. I recommend for small groups

The place was very clean. We stayed here for a few nights with 5 people (mother in law came). For being on the beach, there was no sand anywhere. It's super nice to walk out onto the beach, even if it's cold/rainy/windy like it was when we were there. It was decently equipped (I've stayed in places that have way more things, but this was "ok"). We were surprised they had lack of things that are considered "everyday items" for an Air-Bnb. Such as, it had no coffee (even a small batch for the first day kind of thing), it had no soap for the washing machine (and the message I received as the intro said maybe I'm a lucky one who has soap and maybe not). The place visually looks nice enough. It's been kind of updated in parts. All in all, though there were things we weren't wild about - it was a nice stay. The owners communicate well enough (though to be clear, I never really had a need to reach out. It was more the introduction than anything else). I would recommend for a couple with max of 2 kids. Anything more feels tight and not super comfortable.

It is as described, on the water with the most stunning views. House is very charming. Updated, but with many original pieces. Will definitely stay again.

Schönes Häuschen direkt am Strand

Wir hatten wirklich schöne, erholsame Tage direkt am Strand von East Haven. Ausflüge mit dem Auto in die Umgebung sind sehr zu empfehlen. Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs sind im Umkreis vorhanden sowie zahlreiche Restaurants. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Relaxing getaway

Location was wonderful! You literally walk right out into the beach! Home had all the creature comforts. Neighborhood was peaceful and relaxing. We fished right off the porch and caught our fair share of scup and dogfish. Property owner was quick to respond with a couple questions that came up. We look forward to coming back in the future.

The house was as described. My grandchildren loved having the beach for their backyard. We had one issue with the bedding. I wish it could have been resolved during our stay. That was the only down fall of our stay.

Great Getaway

Sweetest spot on the Sound

We loved our stay in this special spot! Walking out right onto the beach was incredible as was the view. The house was quite charming and very comfortable for 6 people to stay in. It had everything we needed. It is very conveniently located to stores. The owner was very responsive. Would recommend this quaint home to anyone who wants that old time cottage experience.

Tranquil, with the wonderful sound of waves day and night

Visiting Yale for parents' weekend, brought our Yalies siblings, so wanted a larger place. Liked the space, comfort, and tranquility, while still being close to Yale, Wooster Square, etc. Beds were a bit creaky, and front door was a bit stuck (just needed some muscle) but was still a wonderful stay.

Seaside Gem

This quaint cottage has plenty of room and all upgraded systems (showers, baths, hot water, etc.). The owner has been able to maintain its vintage ambiance (wood floors, zplank doors) while providing all the modern conveniences. Its as 'ocean front' as you can get with the lovely sound of waves lapping on the beach as you go to sleep. The owner (Patrick) is personable and responsive (we had a question about the door lock). Everything you need is there, but you might want to bring some Keurig pods if you want morning coffee. We had an unbelievably enjoyable stay and look forward to returning.

40th. HS reunion

This the perfect location to relax on the ocean, location is amazing! 2 delicious restaurants in walking distance. Great vineyard, Rose’s, is just a “Lyft” away. Beds are comfortable, and kitchen is well equipped. The host was easy to communicate with, and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.
