Denna stuga 1990 totalrenoverades vÄren 2018. Det helt nya köket Àr utrustat med rostfria vitvaror, bÀnkskivor i granit och allt köksredskap som behövs för en fantastisk mÄltid.
Det finns 2 privata drottning sovrum, 1 pÄ varje nivÄ. Loftet har bÄde en tvilling och en drottning. Det finns ytterligare tvÄ uppblÄsbara madrasser.
Hemmet har tvÄ fulla bad och en tvÀttmaskin och torktumlare.
Lika bra som insidan av hemmet Àr den största attraktionen den stora verandan mot sjön och den helt nya bryggan. Om du reser med din egen bÄt har hemmet sin egen privata lansering. Och nÀr du har haft din bÄtliv kan du koppla av pÄ bryggan eller spela en hÀstsko. Om du har lite energi kvar kan du rodra runt viken i den medföljande kanot.

Not a good experience

The house is not clean. When you charge a cleaning fee you expect it to be. Tons of cubb webs, stains on carpets, stains on furniture, layers of dust on fans, and an old squeaky bed in the master bedroom, made it impossible to sleep with every single turn. We asked the host about the Hot Tub on his listing he said he never had a Hot Tub on his listing which was a lie. Since we complained to him they removed it from the listing. Hot Tub was an attractive feature for us and our grandkids. The grill was rotted and greasy and dirty, so we end up buying a portable grill. The toilet seat in the ground floor bathroom is disgusting. Tons of flies even with the closed doors, some kind of fly trap should have been provided. When I lifted the kitchen garbage pan to change the bag, it was so filthy with food and pistachio shells around it. My wife did a lot of cleaning and all the supplies were locked so had to purchase my own. On a positive note, The property on the lake is perfect, the location, the backyard with grass, the fire Pitt, We reached out to the host of this property to discuss all these issues before reporting the complaint to VRBO. HE WAS RUDE, AND UNPROFESSIONAL AND SHOULD NOT BE IN THE HOSPITALITY BUSINESS. His Response to me was” After 12 days now you are complaining and trying to get money out of me? “Incredibly rude. Would be impossible for us to find a compatible waterfront property with 2 dogs in a day

Perfect Get Away

Just an overall outstanding place and location. Our host Sean is great and easy to communicate with. The property is very nice and very comfortable. Great boat dock. Very close to all the shopping you need to keep well provisioned. ten out of ten - would recommend!

Lake Norman Vacation

Property was very nice as expected. Cozy and perfect for a family of four with plenty of room for a few more guest. Located near the end of a channel off Lake Norman it was very quiet. The property also had a boat launch which worked out very well, and the dock was perfect for our boat. We would most definitely book here again should we vacation on Lake Norman again in the future.

Excellent Family Vacation at the Cozy Cabin

We loved our stay at the “Cozy Cabin” on Lake Norman in Mooresville, NC. We brought our 21-foot boat and used it on the lake the whole week. First, the ramp is easy to access and load/unload your boat. Second, the dock at the cabin is brand new, so our boat was secure. We loved so many features about the house, the dock, and the lake. Our kids loved fishing off the dock, kayaking, and paddleboarding all around the cove. The cabin had two kayaks on the property, and we also brought two paddleboards and our lake mat that we tied to the dock. We went out on the lake for several days in a row tubing, water skiing, and wakeboarding. The house was very well stocked with kitchen items, beach towels, and bath towels. We cooked a little bit, because we mostly went to this great little restaurant and bar less than a mile away called the “Lake Norman Tavern”. We had fun eating, drinking, playing pool, and playing corn-hole there. It was kid-friendly, so that was nice. The food was surprisingly good too. Would we rent this place again? Definitely.

Cozy Cabin for the holidays

We live in the area and needed extra room for family in town for the holidays. The cabin was perfect! We have rented it 3 times in the last 4 years and it is still as well kept as the first time we stayed there. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Thanksgiving gathering

The home met our needs. We enjoyed sitting on the sunny back porch looking over the lake. Even though it was chilly the sun warmed the porch much of the day. There are 2 ocean kayaks at the house. My husband and son took them out and got fairly wet. The lake level was low so we were unable to rent a pontoon boat. The location to Charlotte was about a 40 minute drive. The location of the house is surrounded by upscale homes. The road was not too busy this time of year. We cooked most meals at the house. Electric stove and oven. I would bring your own frying pan. I bought a set at Target for morning eggs. Pots were worn as well. Happens over time. The house had good water pressure and the water got hot quickly. I liked the open space kitchen / LV together.

First Time at Lake Norman

The cabin was lovely and well equipped. It was our first VRBO so we were not familiar with the supplies we needed to bring, but found a store very close by to purchase what we needed very easily. The owner was easy to contact and very accommodating. I would definitely go back when I had more time to enjoy the lake and maybe use the kayaks and fire pit!

Absolutely Wonderful Getaway

We had a wonderful lake getaway with our family and dogs. This cabin was clean, has a very well stocked and beautiful kitchen, and the most relaxing back porch to sip coffee and enjoy the lake views. Our dogs had a BLAST being able to swim! The owner was quick and easy to chat with when we wanted to extend our trip. We will definitely be back!

Best cabin on the lake!

A fantastic spot on the lake. We love the renovated house. The porch is great to sit on with nice fans for a breeze. We brought a boat with us which we were able to back in the lake ourselves with the ramp on the property. Is it 18 ft fishing boats with a standard with trailer and I was able to use their ramp fine. The doc is in fantastic condition and has been clearly updated. We really enjoyed being able to go out on the lake every day on the boat and come back to a cool and comfortable house. We were even able to practice yoga on the Loft upstairs. It was awesome I was having two full bathrooms to get ready in simultaneously. The open kitchen is beautiful and was easy to make meals in. We even enjoyed some music on the record player! I highly recommend for a beautiful quiet place to stay that's far back in a bay but if you have a boat to bring with you this is a spot you want to be at. Thank you to the hosts for taking such great care of this place and allowing us to stay there. Thank you

Definitely should NOT be a premier host, but sure is charging premier pricing


I had a well thought out review put together but there’s a 1500 character limit so I had to condense. This property is beautiful but this vrbo property host should not be considered Premier. This stay was super disappointing. The day after we arrived, it was hot in there at around 4:30 pm. I checked out the thermostat and it was 75, even though it had been set at 68. We hadn’t touched it since we arrived. I called and texted the property owner, Sean, to let him know the compressor on the ac was no longer working. He informed me that since it was a Sunday, there was nothing he could do, we had to wait. So that night was pretty miserable. We have a dog who is quite sensitive to the heat so she was vomiting all night. That next day the ac guy came at 2, we ran into him as we were returning from finding dog friendly places to soak up AC. He said it was a clog and it tripped the flood switch, we should be good to go now. Sean texted me that it froze up cause we had it set too low, I stated that we never touched it and he stopped responding. Fast forward to Friday, we’re having a wonderful last day out back on the lawn, the dog and my son are playing in the lake, and the lawn people show up to cut the grass, seriously?! I asked them to leave, the politely declined then proceeded to unload all their equipment. I had to then clean everything up. Called Sean again and he was super dismissive and said they’ll be done quick. So once again, I’m inconvenienced. Not a great week.

Gorgeous Cabin!

This beautiful cabin exceeded my expectations, the pictures on VRBO do not do it justice. The cabin is fully stocked with everything you need & extremely clean. I look foward to staying again next time I visit Lake Norman. The weather did not cooperate when we were there (Tornado warnings!) but I really enjoyed sitting on the porch--reading, drinking wine and watching the storm.

Loved this cabin & Lake Norman!

Love this cabin and enjoyed the peaceful water access out front! Very clean. Kitchen well stocked. Enjoyed the open concept. Easy to find and quick access to grocery stores, restaurants and movie theater. We will definitely be back!

Book It!

We spent five days in this well appointed lake home around Davidson college graduation weekend. It was just the refuge we needed in between social events! Clean, peaceful, the house had absolutely everything we needed. Every single person in our party raved about the comfortable beds, wonderful shower pressure, and serene lake view. We enjoyed the kayaks and the fire pit, and the fact that there was space for everyone to have space even when extended family joined us for the afternoon. The house is close to grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, and anything you might need, and an easy 20 to 30 minute drive to Davidson depending on traffic. Everything was very clean in and around the house, seems like a new dock, and there were many thoughtful touches, such as separate towels for the people and the dogs/boats provided and washer/dryer for laundry. Wonderful rental if you plan to bring your dog along, which we did. Owner was flexible and went out of his way for us to have the best stay possible. Can’t say enough good things, hope to get back someday..

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

I am always on the hunt for great opportunities and this gem was too cute to pass up. The property was spectacular enough on it's own but I also saw that with a little polish the cabin was going to be incredibly inviting as well.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

There's something spiritual about restoring a property to its glory. Although this place had suffered many years of neglect, I could tell immediately that its great bones would lend themselves to a full rehab. I couldn't be more pleased with the finished product.
