My wife and I recently stayed at this property in Triadelphia, and overall, we had a wonderful time! It officially holds the record as the tiniest tiny house we’ve ever stayed in, making for a fun and unique minimalist experience. The setting is extremely private, peaceful, quiet, and relaxing—an excellent spot for stargazing! Plus, it's conveniently located just 7 minutes away from all the activities at Oglebay Park Resort. The host did a great job outfitting the small space with useful amenities: while there is no microwave oven or wall clock, the kitchen area includes a two-burner hot plate, an air fryer, and a college dorm-style mini fridge. Having complimentary Wi-Fi was a great plus! There is also a flat-screen TV, a hair dryer, and a Nespresso machine complete with pods. There is a small fire pit right outside with firewood available for purchase on site, Here are a few tips to keep in mind: bring your own bedroom pillows from home, as the ones provided in the tiny house are quite flat. The Murphy bed uses a pulley system that is pretty heavy and cumbersome to raise and lower each day. We discovered a huge mouse nest under the charcoal grill cover, so you’ll definitely want to inspect and clean under the lid before using it. Despite these few quirks, we really enjoyed our trip and appreciated the serene environment. It’s a great choice if you’re looking to unplug and try out micro-living!
