Kai Nalu, som betyder "Ocean Wave" på Hawaiian, är ett vackert hem precis vid stranden i Waimea, mellan floden och den historiska Waimea Pier. Två expansiva lanaer har utsikt över Ni'ihau solnedgångar och är en utmärkt plats för att njuta av en morgon kopp kaffe eller sval dryck tillsammans med den fantastiska vista.

Vardagsrummet är ljust och bekvämt med underbar havsutsikt. Den stora sovrummet sviten har en sittgrupp och lika fantastisk utsikt. Befälhavaren badet har marmorgolv, en över storlek glasblock dusch och jacuzzi badkar med havsutsikt. Gourmet köket har en gas ö kokkärl, kakel räknare och alla apparater.

Even better than the photos!

This VRBO was everything we hoped for and more! The location was unbeatable—right on the beach, with stunning ocean views and just a short walk to restaurants and shops. The place itself was even better than the photos. Super clean and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into the details, making it feel like a true home away from home.If you're looking for the perfect mix of relaxation and convenience in Hawaii, this is the spot. Already dreaming of coming back!

Loved our stay. Home was clean and well stocked. The neighborhood is quiet which was wonderful. Able to walk on the beach daily. Walk to grocery store if needed. Would stay again in a heart beat. Thank you.

Great location on chill part of the island

Outdoor dining area is great. The beach is not crowded at all. The house is spacious and offers a lot of privacy for each bedroom. The kitchen has all the utensils and pot/pans you need. But you will have to buy everything to cook with including oil, sugar, flour, and any baking stuff (baking soda etc).

We loved staying at this home!

This home is so much better in real life. We loved having beachfront access, and being able to hear the waves. The beds are all very comfortable. We loved our stay and would book this house again.

Beautiful Home

Beautiful Waimea

This house was perfect for us. We had plenty of room and our host thought of everything to make the stay a pleasant one. Many items were provided for us and we had all the tools needed to cook, grill, enjoy the beach, and just hang out on the back yard. Stores in the town were an easy walk away. Loved our visit.

Off the beaten path

House was great, neighbors were awesome. It’s not in your typical tourist zone and there is a shortage of good restaurants in the area. We stopped at Costco on our way in and picked up groceries, we cooked at the house several nights, the kitchen is well equipped and we fed 8 adults no problem. Only complaint the ice chest had no lid otherwise everything was as advertised.

The wonderful Kai Nalu House

This is a beautiful well kept property. 7 in our party and no complaints from anyone. Nice beach for walking, jogging, but you cannot swim there and even wading is difficult due to slope of the sand. Waema the town is only 3 blocks from the house with gasoline, 2 stores and various little shops and eateries. 1 bank and 1 credit union. Enjoyed our stay. Would stay again.

Perfect location for a large family

This house was perfect for our large group of adult family members. There is plenty of room for everyone and a bathroom for each bedroom. The kitchen was great and had fabulous knives for food preparation. The only down side was that the air conditioning quit working. Fortunately there were several fans available to move the air around and keep it cool. I would book this house again.

The views are beautiful from the lanai. You can see the islands of Ni'ihau and Lehua in the distance, boats, and ocean wildlife. The sound of the ocean waves is relaxing and the sunsets are amazing. If your agenda includes activities on the south end of Kauai, this home is for you!

“Beach house”

House is great. Location is good if you want a less touristy area. Beach is not useable. High surf area with churning water 24/7. Can’t get in it at all. Also no shaded area to enjoy it. Would have liked more transparency in the beach description for this VRBO. May have impacted my choice. Home was great!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at Kai’nalu. The house was perfect for our party of 7 - 6 adults and a little one. Each couple had their own room & bathroom and there was extra space for the little. The beach is steps away and so relaxing to just sit and watch. There were some minor things in the house that needed attention, and we left a list for the management company hoping that they’ll follow through fixing-they’d been very helpful with questions and assistance since we made our reservation.

Kauai Paradise!

We had a great time staying at this beachfront property. The house was very nicely stocked with everything we needed for our week long stay. AC worked very nicely as it was pretty warm during our stay. It was very nice to walk out the back door and take morning walks on the beach. The property is located at the mouth of a river so the water is not as blue as other beaches. That area is also not good for swimming but the strolls on the beach were perfect or just hanging by the water listening to the waves crash, unbeatable. Every morning for breakfast we sat outside under the covered patio and enjoyed the view and sounds of the ocean. I personally love the west coast. It is not as touristy as the Princeville area and easy to get to beautiful beaches that are not at all crowded. The property management team was awesome too. Very responsive to all our needs. Will stay here again! Thank you!!

Beautiful beachfront home on secluded black sand beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is very well appointed with anything our family needed. Plenty of cook ware, plates, knives, appliances, etc. Also the owners saw to it there were plenty of towls and toilet paper. The kitchen had plenty of incidentals as well such as spices and sauces in the cubbard. We left all of our unused non perishables for the next guests as well. The master suite is very large with a fireplace, large bath and walk in closet, and the bedroom and bathroom all walk out onto the deck overlooking the beach. The other bedrooms are smaller but each has access to its own bath. The family room which is open to the kitchen is very comfortable and looks out onto the nicely kept lawn that ends on the beach. The beach is beautiful but not the best for swimming due to the fresh water river that comes in about 300 meters down from the house so the water is brackish. It's not bad but just not as clear as some of the nearby beaches like salt pond or Poipu. All in all it is a very nice property on a beautiful beach in paradise. If you are looking for a nice quiet place close to the locals for you and your family. I don't think you could do better than this. We would walk into town about 3 blocks and get shaved ice at Jojo's or eat at one of the restaurants and shop. Also there were many other items at the home that made our stay such as beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel equipment, coolers, boogie boards, lounge chairs, a barbque grill with plenty of propane which was great because there were local fishermen selling their catch in town. Finally, the ladies at Kauai vacation rental are very helpful and honest. We received much more than we expected. For us this place was perfect and we intend on going back to Kauai and this is where we will stay.
