Winter is one of the most popular seasons thanks to the ski slopes and snow activities. Guests love the ability to access slopes quickly and enjoy a wide variety of winter entertainment.

Important:
• Chairlift and tubing tickets sell out fast—purchase in advance on the Wintergreen website.
• Reserve ski rentals early, especially during busy weekends.
• The Ski Barn at Rt. 151 & Rt. 664 offers convenient rentals at the base of the mountain.



Guests will enjoy exclusive access to the entire property, ensuring complete privacy and freedom during their stay. Ample parking space is available in a private area. Guests will receive the door code 24 hours prior to their scheduled check-in.

During the summer, you will have access to the Chestnut Springs Pool on the mountain and the Rodes Farm Pool down in the valley. As you enter, you’ll step into a bright, open-concept main level featuring a fully stocked kitchen, spacious dining area, and a kitchen island integrated into the layout for easy cooking and gathering. Just next to the dining area is the cozy main living room, complete with a warm fireplace—perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes.

From the dining room, step outside onto the mountain-view deck, which includes a grill and comfortable seating area, ideal for morning coffee or evening dinners overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The main level also includes a half bathroom for guests, a laundry area, and two convenient bedrooms for those who prefer to avoid stairs:

The home is approximately 2 hours from Richmond and 3 hours from Washington, D.C., making it a convenient weekend or holiday escape.

During the winter season, road conditions in the mountains can change quickly — we recommend 4WD or AWD vehicles for safe travel in snowy or icy conditions. Once inside the resort, all main roads are maintained, making access smooth year-round.

1. Wi-Fi: you will have access to a high-speed Wi-Fi connection, we understand this is essential for many guests who need to stay connected to work, family, or friends.
2. Bedding and linens: we will provide fresh, clean bedding and linens for a comfortable night's sleep.
3. Toiletries: we take care of basic toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and toilet paper so you don't have to worry about bringing these items themselves.
4. Towels: we will provide towels and a hair dryer during your stay.
5. Kitchen essentials: for your convenience we will provide basic cooking supplies like pots and pans, utensils, plates, and glasses. Also, basic spices like salt, pepper, and cooking oil.
6. TV and entertainment: We provide smart TVs with Roku live TV and major streaming services for you to log in to when you arrive.
