Perfect location and quiet. We enjoyed the ease of check in and immediate rest in this rental. Located in walking distance or quick drive from Franklin’s downtown we had everything we needed for a perfect weekend. We’ll rent again the next time in town.

The house was perfect for our trip. It had a kitchen so we didn't have to eat out the whole time. It was nice that it had a washer and dryer also. The host are so nice and helpful.

Lovely quaint and cosy home in a well kept mature neighborhood. Just minutes from downtown Franklin. We very much enjoyed our stay and we would not hesitate to return.

This guest house was pure PERFECTION! It had all the necessary kitchen items & bathroom items. They were very clear in all instructions and requests, but flexible enough to accommodate the guests' wants (within reason). We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at General's Retreat. The accommodations were clean and welcoming. I really appreciated the motion sensitive lights all around the house when I took the dog out at night.

We so enjoyed staying at this property. Very spacious, beautifully decorated with lots of historic charm, big yard for pups! Within walking distance of downtown Franklin, as well as a nice park. Very nice and safe neighborhood, no problem walking day or night. So much to do and explore in the area. Mark and Damon (owners) are the nicest couple, they have a beautiful property and just fun to chat with. Forgot to thank them for the delicious banana bread.., thank you M&D. We hope to visit again:)

Excellent gathering space for families to reunite and enjoy each others company.Also, the location was excellent walk-ability index.Damon was so helpful ahead of time for planning details I hope to return next year.
