The Glamping Tent at Campfire Adventure Ranch sits near the Salt Dunes Basin Trailhead of Guadalupe Mountains National Park. This remote desert retreat offers a queen bed, and linens. Outside: a picnic table and one of the best views of the Guadalupe Mountains. Enjoy the trading post, ride a fat tire bike, or join a tourâall with front row views of the highest peak in Texas.
The space
Your tent is part of Campfire Adventure Ranch, a unique hospitality property just outside Guadalupe Mountains National Park. The ranch is designed for explorers and nature lovers, offering guided tours, wilderness hiking support, outfitting services, and a variety of camping options.
Bathrooms & Showers
While the tent itself is rustic, youâll have access to shared amenities on the ranch. Thereâs a bathroom with running water, a flush toilet, and a hot shower available to all guests. For busier times, we also provide porta-potties and even an outdoor shower for those who want to rinse off under the open sky.
On the Ranch
Beyond your cabin, youâll find plenty to enjoy on-site. Explore our short interpretive hiking trail, rent fat tire bikes for desert rides, or join in on simple crafting activities and classic yard games. We also have a horseshoe pit and plenty of open space to relax, unwind, and take in views of the Guadalupe Mountainsâincluding a front row seat to the highest peak in Texas.

This is one of the most remote and adventurous places you can experience in the continental United States. Here, nature takes the leadâyou might feel the desert winds, see the sand dance across the ground, or spot a curious creature passing by. The days can be warm, the nights refreshingly cool, and every moment is part of the adventure.
