Mountain Road Farmhouse is a gorgeous new home in one of Stowe's most preferred neighborhoods.
The three bay garage walks directly into a large mud room, thoughtfully placed laundry area, and the main floor powder room. The common areas of the home are designed with an open floor plan encouraging time spent together. The living area is welcoming and comfortable with a deep sectional sofa and armchair ideally placed in front of the handsome gas fireplace. The adjacent dining space has a table to fit up to eight and a convenient sideboard for serving. The beautiful kitchen is the epitome of farmhouse modern with an oversize island for prepping and hanging, floating wood shelves, crisp white counters and tile backsplash, and a roomy walk-in pantry to store goods and smaller appliances. A slate patio is accessible and offers a BBQ grill and a large, covered deck is furnished for outdoor livingâtop it all off with a soak in the hot tub under the stars! The spacious and serene primary bedroom and ensuite bathroom is located on the main floor while three additional guest rooms and two full baths are found on the second level.
The neighborhood of Sugar House Hill is a longstanding favorite of Stoweites! This fantastic location is in the center of it allâStowe Mountain Resort is just up the Mountain Road, several access points to the Stowe Recreation Path are dotted along the way, there are several great dining options just minutes away, the Spa at Topnotch is around the corner, and one of the town's best hikes, Wiessner Woods, is just a five minutes' drive. All this and the Village itself is just a few miles down the Mountain Road with more dining, drinking, and shopping businesses along the way.
