Best of the Very Best!!!!!

We stayed 10 days in this spectacular duplex that is centrally located to all that the DC area has to offer. But what made this stay so special, was the extraordinary customer service we received from Steve. He was positively marvelous, from leaving us a bottle of Prosecco to even running errands for us. I have never met anyone who wanted the people who were staying with him to feel more at home. He is an "ultra supra" host and we will definitely come back! If you're looking for a clean, quality and comfortable place to stay in the Arlington area this is a WONDERFUL location. It's located in a quiet neighborhood in Cherrydale. You have everything you need (and more). The location is well equipped with quality items from the beds, towels, to everything in the kitchen. And it's so convenient to downtown DC. JR has done an excellent job creating a top notch place to stay. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place and great host!

This is a great location to unwind after a busy day. Soft king beds, fullsize kitchen with updated accessories, and spacious living room make for a super relaxing stay. JR is very friendly and easy to talk with. I will definitely try to stay here again when I come back to Arlington.

A peaceful, perfect Washington DC getaway

JR's Arlington property is by far the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed in. Not only is it meticulously clean and well maintained, it is artfully designed and decorated. The kitchen is generously equipped with dishes, utensils, and high end appliances. JR has thought of everything for his guests' comfort and convenience. Comfortable beds feature lovely fresh linens. Laundry facilities are available on site. The duplex is conveniently located in a charming and quiet neighborhood, near enough to Washington DC area attractions. Our 5 night stay was a dream. JR was responsive and easy to work with. We definitely hope to stay here again!

Great Location!

We loved staying here. It was very easy to find and was just a short (cheap ~ $12) Uber ride to the tourist sites of DC. The owner was very accommodating and quick to return text messages and emails. He stopped by with a box of Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies---that alone is worth the 5 star review! Because it was winter when we visited we didn't get to use the outdoor area but it looks beautiful and if we visit again in the summer we will certainly return to this property!

A wonderful stay !!

My wife and I visited Washington DC from Sept 23 through Sept 29th. We chose this home in Arlington , Virginia so as to stay out of the Washington DC area proper. Let me tell you, this home was wonderful. Located in a very quiet, residential area just 15 minutes away from all the sites in Washington DC., so an easy ride back and forth. The neighborhood was safe, clean, and located near everything you could possibly need : grocery stores ( Safeway and Giant ), pharmacies, and many excellent restaurants. The home itself was recently redone and was impeccable. The kitchen had everything you could think of, including coffee filters for the coffee pot!! The bed was fantastic : firm and comfortable, and quite frankly felt like it was brand new. The furniture was comfortable and the outdoor garden was quiet and lovely. It was loaded with every paper product you needs ( extra paper towels, toilet paper etc ) and had loads of towels. Had laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent as well. The owner was very helpful, friendly and available for issues ( we had none though ) It was great to visit Washington DC, but then get out of the city and stay in a suburban residential area to relax. Highly recommend this home if you are considering a visit to the DC area. When we come back to visit, will definitely look to stay here again!

Great Place to Stay for a Visit to DC.

Had a great time in DC and staying at this property. Very comfortable and spacious. Air conditioning worked great for the hot days. Lots of room and a very nice back yard to sit around and visit with family during the evenings. Would recommend. Downtown DC is only a short Uber or Taxi ride away. Kids appreciated the Wi-Fi after spending most of our days at the museums.

Beautiful, comfortable, clean, more then I expected! Will definitely stay there again.

JR and Steve were most helpful before and after we arrived. The neighborhood was quiet, and beautiful. We opted to take a cab to DC and back and got great service and drivers. Really enjoyed our time spent in Arlington and DC.

Beautiful, clean and peaceful

We had a lovely time in Arlington. It was so wonderful to have a full modern kitchen. We cooked most meals. The beds were comfortable and large with lots of extra blankets. Having a TV and a huge comfortable couch to hang out on all together was great. The house was convenient to the subway. JR was very responsive. More than enough room for 4 people. The only negative is there is only one shower, so scheduling shower times is important but very doable. I will definitely rent this space next time I'm in town.

Felt right at home as soon as we walked in!

We visit the Arlington and DC area often and was very happy we read the reviews and chose this property to rent. Steve went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. A super nice guy who knows what is needed when your away from home. Will definitely make this our first choice when returning! Oh by the way..the wine and flowers are a great welcome!!! Dont think twice about renting if available.

Excellent property and value!

This was an excellent home away from home for our family trip to DC! I have two small boys and we drove. It was great to have a spot to park for the week and easy to Uber (only $15 into the city) wherever we wanted to go. At the end of long days it was perfect to spread out and be able to relax. And so, so much of a better value...and way cheaper than a hotel! I have already passed along the owner's info to a friend for their visit. I highly recommend!!!

Great property. Best stocked rental home we've encountered.

We stayed at this property for a week with our two sons. It was very convenient and quiet. It is hands-down the best stocked rental property we have encountered. There are even sound machines in the two bedrooms. We had plenty of extra pillows, sheets and blankets. The beds are firm and comfortable. The towels are plush and new. The kitchen looks as though someone really lives here. There are measuring spoons, veggie peelers, and other tools infrequently found in rental kitchens. There is even a coffee bean grinder. We were quite pleased with how easy it was to stay in this property. The neighborhood is quiet, yet convenient for exploring the city. We stumbled upon a few great restaurants near the Ballston Metro station. Sweet Greens is great for salad lovers. It is owned by the same people that have Sweetleaf just around the corner. We also enjoyed Rustico and Buzz Bakery (and coffee shop) next door to Rustico. Taylor sandwich shop was a favorite for our boys. There is a Whole Foods just a short drive away. The owner and Rick (staying downstairs) were incredibly helpful. They even produced a sewing kit when we needed one. We appreciated the on-site support and their willingness to help us in any way we needed. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to others. It really is well represented on the listing. If you don't mind a short drive or walk to the nearest Metro station, this house is a terrific option.

There are several accommodations located in Washington DC that are twice the distance to the White House and National Mall area, where the majority of the museums are located.

Cherrydale is a charming neighborhood with good reliable public transit. The neighborhood is very safe, with dozens nearby places to eat, coffee shops, pharmacies.

Arlington Virginia is as great way to experience the entire Metro DC and at the end of the day have a quiet, comfortable place to relax. We are 3 miles to the Georgetown section of Washington DC and the White House.

There are several grocery stores nearby, Safeway is with 1/4 mile. Harris Teeter and Giant are also very close, less than a 1/2 mile. This location is very close walk, to Ballston, Virginia Square, and Clarendon metro on Orange line of DC metro. Check online to see the map for the Metro DC transportation. The Metro will take you directly to Downtown, the National Mall, plus all other interesting sights in the city.
