Detta en av ett slag timmerstuga ligger i hjärtat av vin land, 12 miles söder om historiska Hermann Mo. strax utanför motorväg 19 i staden schweiziska. Du får hela hytten för sig själv och det är mycket privat. Detta två sovrum, ett badrum timmerstuga ligger inbäddat på 35 tunnland skog och dammar. Vyn från verandan är hisnande utsikt över tre tunnland sjön och böljande kullar. Denna stuga byggdes från träd på egenskapen. Inuti hittar du en stor sten spis, stora rum, anpassade skåp, trägolv, och mycket mer. Sovrummen är upp på loftet, som har utsikt över vardagsrummet och öppen spis. Sjön är fyllt till bra fiske och det finns ett överflöd av vilda djur. Authentic vacation

A true vacation, stress free as well as fun! Beautifully built log cabin, pictures posted do not show justice. The host was quick to respond and authentic. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Quiet & Relaxing

The grounds are so quiet and relaxing. Look out over the pond from the dock or laze around in the hammock. Secluded and tranquil. The cabin is very welcoming and cozy. What a wonderful place for a getaway.

Relaxing getaway

Quiet setting for a spring break getaway from the grind. The weather was colder than we had anticipated but a fire in the fireplace made the cabin cozy. We appreciated the extra heater in the bathroom as well.

Perfect get-away spot!

Enjoyed a weekend away with friends. Everything was just perfect. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful, quiet, outdoors. Inside, everything was nice, clean, cozy. Spent hours on the porch visiting during a rain evening. Can't wait to go back.

This little cabin is decorated so cozy, it's quiet & serene, very peaceful and the fireplace was amazing. So nice on a Saturday afternoon coming back from a much needed massage and lunch to take a nice quiet nap in front of the fireplace while it's crackling and popping. We will be back!

Stunning property!

Diane, the host, was wonderful from answering questions before we booked, giving direction guidance due to a detour and during our stay. This home and property is absolutely beautiful and is definitely secluded as the listing said. The bedrooms upstairs do get quite warm, but lowering the thermostat downstairs, closing all curtains in the home, shutting off the second bedroom upstairs and sleeping with the provided fans on made it much better. We would love to stay again sometime but would probably do so in the fall when a little cooler so we could enjoy the outdoor offerings much more. If you stay here, you have to go to Rosebud, MO to eat at Ruthie’s. We ate there after we checked out this morning and it was hands down the best meal we had all weekend! My friend and I took a piece of the humongous lemon blueberry cake home and it was amazing!!! I would definitely recommend this home!

Great getaway. Property is beautiful and peaceful. Lightning in the cabin is somewhat dim and the beds aren’t that comfortable, but look, it’s a cabin and not a 5 star hotel. Our kids loved it and it was just what we expected and hoped it would be. Hermann itself wasn’t that impressive. We prepared most of our meals and it is always a fun experience cooking on the open campfire, as well as s’mores. We’ll likely stay again. If you’re looking to unplug and get out of the city, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. The fall and spring are optimal times. If you fish, bring a few spinners and lures for bass and catfish. All catch and release unless you’re a bluegill keeper lol. Kids loved the fishing and exploring the area. Someone recommended Ruthie’s in Rosebud, MO, which is about 20 min away….i wasn’t impressed, but it could be a fun outing if you enjoy seriously mediocre diner food. Personally, I enjoy staying at the cabin and enjoying the peacefulness. We did hit up Swiss Meats and picked items to cook on the fire, which I highly recommend.

Amazing Place for Peace and Quiet!

The cabin was BEAUTIFUL. You can tell a lot of love went into decorating the cabin. Swiss meats down the road is worth stopping for! The hosts were very helpful during the whole process. Will absolutely be looking to stay here again next year!

Weekend Stay

We decide to stay there while in the area for a wedding. Great place, especially nice escape after the wedding festivities. Wish we had more time to enjoy the property. Road were a little rough getting to it especially for low profile cars. Great experience. Cars.Greaexperience.expeWish

The property is close enough to St. Louis, Columbia, Kansas City to spend a weekend without spending a lot of time traveling. When you arrive, it is like a different world. Peace and quite, nature, lake views, privacy beautiful views and much more. It's the perfect getaway to relax and recharge.
