Yellowstone National Park och West Yellowstone ligger bara 25 minuter bort. Hem ligger 30 miles från West Yellowstone.

Fisk direkt från fastigheten i Madison's bästa wade-sektion.

Du kommer att känna dig välkommen i vår lyxiga logghem på floden! Vi byggde vår egen bostad 2014, det är 3800 kvm ft som har 4 sovrum (Inkl. TWO MASTER SUITES), 5: e sovrummet är ett rymligt loft, 3 badrum och ett nytt spelrum med andra vardagsrum / barområde. Vårt hem kan sova 10 personer på 3 nivåer. Hemmet ligger på en tunnland mycket längs floden och ligger bara en kort bilresa från huvudvägen.

Hemmet är möblerat helt med lokalt tillverkade, anpassade Montana logg och barn trä möbler. Alla våra sängkläder tvättas professionellt efter varje gäst! Vi borde inte vara något annat hem i området gör det här.

Det stora rummet har utsikt över floden och bergen med bekväma soffor och stolar runt en gaspanna. Vyerna är hisnande! För foodies finns det ett fullt utrustat kockkök med stor centrum ö. Kvalitetssängar, kuddar och sängkläder är få saker att göra din vistelse väldigt bekväm. Ner vid floden hittar du en mysig eldstaden med ved och 8 Adirondack stolar för s'mores och stargazing. Däcket har en Weber Genesis gasgrill med matbord och stolar. Det finns två uppsättningar HE tvättmaskiner / torktumlare för bekvämlighet, alla tvål och torktumlare tillhandahålls. Vi har varit mycket omtyckta för att du ska ha alla bekvämligheter i hemmet!

Våra våningar har ett öppet kök, matsal och stort rum, en master svit, två andra gäster sovrum, ett badrum och tvättstuga. Det stora öppna loftet har en queen size-säng med sittgrupp. På den nedre våningen / körfältet är den andra master-sviten och ett annat vardagsrum / barområde med TV, utrymme för alla dina fiskeredskap, stång- och vadarstativ. Våra betonggolv gör det bekvämt att byta in på natten eller när det är vått. Precis utanför detta rum finns en andra uppsättning tvättstuga och ett spelrum med fotboll, bordtennis, majshål, ringspetsspel.

Rökning förbjuden och inga husdjur.

Det finns många floder och sjöar i närheten, liksom Yellowstone, vilket gör det till den perfekta hemmabasen för att utforska området. Fiska Madison, Henriks gaffel, Gallatin eller floder inuti Yellowstone Park. Hebgen Lake, Cliff och Wade Lakes, Höns Lake, Jordbävningsjön ligger alla minuter bort.

Absolutely Great!

This was a top notch stay from beginning to end. The house was immaculate, comfortable and in a wonderful location right on the Madison River (35-40 minute drive to Yellowstone). What made this property particularly special was the many extras you don't expect in a rental property. We were welcomed with a personal note and a wonderful snack package. The house had just about everything you could want: coolers, bear spray, binoculars, pantry items like spices and baggies, coffee and filters, real soap bars in the bathrooms, just to name a few. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need to cook-in nights. The owner was wonderfully responsive and even bought a chess set for the house when I asked if they had one. It's no wonder this property has received so many 5 star ratings- here's one more.

Best Week Ever!

Staying at the Caddis Shack was incredible. The property is beautiful and the house is perfect--all the touches of home and make sure you save time to utilize the game room as it led to hours of fun for us! Breathtaking

We had a blast, fished the Madison, went to Yellowstone, went horseback riding, shot fully automatic guns in West Yellowstone and enjoyed the house. We had 4 adults and 4 teens. There was something for everyone. The owner of the property was amazing and literally thought of everything. A trip of a lifetime!

Great family stay

Our family had a great week at Caddis Shack. We all agreed this was the best vacation house we have stayed at. The hosts really set the experience apart by making you feel more like family than unknown guests. They thought of everything and the house is very well appointed. We spent our days visiting Yellowstone and evenings enjoying the river while we prepared dinners. Thank you Samantha for opening up your home to us!

This was such an amazing property. The homeowners thought of everything. It was so well kept and clean. They provided so many things to help you feel right a home and enjoy your stay. They were great with communication before and during our stay. The river was so peaceful and calming. Perfecto!

We have stayed in VRBOs all over the world for the past 17 years. So when I say this was “perfecto” I know what I am talking about! This was such a wonderful, beautiful, welcoming home. We are a family of two grandparents, 2 thirty-something couples and two little kids (9 and 4). We had planned on 3 days in Yellowstone, but due to major flooding we were turned away and the park never opened again while we were there. Oh well! We still had so much to see and do and we loved it all. Our evenings were spent playing ping pong and corn hole (we are all quite competitive so it was really fun). We took turns fixing dinner in that fabulous kitchen and took turns cleaning up. It was delightful working together because the kitchen is big and well designed. The little things were so very much appreciated. This is where Caddis Shack is heads above the others…Randy and Samantha provided all the stuff we usually have to buy before we even check in! Things like olive oil, trash bags, zip lock bags, paper towels, sun screen, OFF, and even BEAR SPRAY! And don’t get me started on those plush towels! The two washers and dryers were a real bonus too and we used them since we didn’t bring a lot of clothes. (Fishing gear took up a lot of our luggage space.). All in all, this vacation truly was “perfecto” and a big part of it was because of Caddis Shack. To have that many family members traveling together can sometimes be challenging….Caddis Shack was so spacious and comfortable that there was room for a person to go off on their own if they wanted a break from the activities and energy. We loved it. I don’t think we will ever be able to find a place as wonderful. Headed to Chamonix, France next, but we will still have to return to Montana to see Yellowstone in a couple years. I hope we can still stay at Caddis Shack!

Family Time

Our family group of 9 spent a week at Chaddis Shack. Our sons ages 15 to 26 enjoyed fishing in the river. Our whole group visited, YNP, West Yellowstone, Tetons. We hiked Sheep Lake trail. We enjoyed the fire pit, big dinners and the game room. Perfect time to relax and reconnect.

The Best Family Trip

We had the most amazing family trip! The house was perfect in every aspect. We loved the location on the river and the convenience to West Yellowstone and Yellowstone! An amazing vacation with breathtaking scenery.

We had an amazing time here. Great location for fishing. My sons fished most of the week and caught a lot of trout. I'm somewhat of a germaphobe and can have a hard time relaxing at vacation homes, but I did not have that problem here. The house was very clean. We all enjoyed snacking of the basket of goodies that was left for us, especially after traveling all day. It was a sweet gesture. Randy and Samantha were easy to work with and were always quick to answer any questions we had. We look forward to coming back again one day!

The Caddis Shack is Amazing!

Our extended family of nine has vacationed together every summer for 12 years and we all agreed this was the best vacation ever! The Caddis Shack is a beautiful property and the amenities in the house are fantastic. Samantha and Randy have thought of everything-from binoculars to ice chests- to make guests comfortable. The chef’s kitchen has top-of-the- line appliances, and every “gadget and small appliance you could ever need. The fly fishing enthusiasts in our group were amazed, not only at how superb the fishing was in the Madison River, but also how well designed the house is for ease of storing and using fishing gear. The house is convenient, not only for visiting Yellowstone National Park, but also for white water rafting, hiking and other fun activities. Caddis Shack is is a beautiful home in a beautiful location, and our family is already talking about returning!

Amazing Property

Excellent stay from start to finish!! Beautiful property. We enjoyed use of the game room, fire pit, grill, decks, etc. All the beds were super comfortable. Cabin is very clean and organized. The complimentary coolers were used everyday as we packed picnics for the park. This was hands down the best place!!

Seriously? Seriously!

The owners of this property put in SO MUCH care and attention to this house and our experience there. So many details to make your stay a good one are done right. Not to overstate things, but ALL of the details! And it's exceptionally clean. It's clear they have stayed at many vacation rental properties and applied all of the things they saw and liked to their own property. If you are considering staying at this property, just pull the trigger. You won't be disappointed!

Vacation destination with a majestic view

From the time you arrive at the front door of this home away from home , you have a back drop of God’s wonderful canvas of art. Nestled against a mountain with the beautiful Madison River at its base. Once you enter the door you step into a luxurious log home that leaves your mind to a place of peace and comfort. The deck off the back gives you the opportunity to watch beautiful sunsets, the masters of fly fishermen as that attempt to make a trout rise from the water and the peaceful sound of the water as it flows over the rocks. Unfortunately for us we were only there 5 nights, but will plan another trip there soon!

Fantastic Property!

After reading the reviews of previous guests, we were anticipating an excellent property.. The Chaddis Shack far exceeded any of our expectations. I can't say enough about this property. We stayed for a week in July with our sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren. It was a multigenerational gathering to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. What a perfect setting! The house was great for dinners together and just "hanging out" as a group while also large enough to provide space for individuals who wanted a little "alone time". The fly fishermen in the family loved walking out and having immediate access to the Madison river. The fire pit and lower level recreation room was fun for everyone. I should also mention the welcome basket which had been personalized just for our family. We went into Yellowstone Park several days but also had fun taking in activities closer to the house. We left the property with wonderful memories of a very special family time. We all agreed the house was one of the highlights of the week. We are hoping to return again!

We stayed at Caddis Shack for a week in September. This was a get together of long time friends who long ago moved away to raise families and pursue careers. Now retired, these four couples come together every other year to reconnect and have fun. This year’s destination was Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. Although a bit of a drive from this property to these national parks, the scenery was spectacular at all times. And what a house to return to after a day in the parks. Randy and Samantha have thought of everything. The kitchen is fully stocked and the appliances were in excellent working order. The additional wine refrigerators were a bonus as was a welcome basket of coffees and snacks. Very thoughtful. The house is roomy with four good size bedrooms and a loft bedroom. The living room was a great place to congregate and the tv and other media/tech was easy to use. This property also offers you an opportunity to grill and eat outside as well as sit by a fire ring while gazing at the clear Montana sky. Although we were not a fishing group, I can imagine that this place would fulfill every fly fisher’s dream. The Madison is spectacular. All-in-all, the Caddis Shack is perfect in every way.

This was the perfect house for our family vacation. We all loved fishing from the property and the house had everything we needed. It was close to Yellowstone and there was so much to do. We will definitely be considering staying there again.

50th Anniversary

What an amazing property! We had three generations, ages four through 70 and every one left with life long memories of staying at the Caddis Shack. Our oldest granddaughter stayed up in the loft and she and her younger cousin used that as their refuge and special place to share thoughts, games and music. My husband spent time fishing on the Madison, of course, and had one day surrounded by children and grands, showing them the finer points of fly fishing.... following extensive prep work in the basement, of course. We ate in almost every meal and everyone appreciated the flow of the kitchen, lots of room to cook and socialize! All loved the game room.....usually with more games than one going at the same time! The night it snowed, (Yes! We had snow) we all gathered around the fireplace after an insane frolic outside. We did, of course, spend lots of time exploring Yellowstone Park and all the area had to offer, but coming "home" to Caddis Shack can't be beat. I'll end with what my granddaughter made sure I wrote in the Guest Book, "Make sure you tell them to take time to enjoy the house."

We have been coming to fish the Madison River since 2000. Over the years we have stayed in motels in West Yellowstone, brought our RV to West Yellowstone and rented homes along the river. We really wanted to have a home on the right water and offer it as a rental to others coming here. In 2012, we were able to buy this lot and finished building our custom log home in 2014. So much thought has gone into making this the best rental around. We used our experience as guests ourselves and provided what we felt all the others were missing. We want you to enjoy our home with family and friends, feel at peace listening to the river and taking in all Montana has to offer. It's the perfect getaway spot!!
