This cozy, safe 55m2 vacation apartment is located in Baumengartenhof in Algund, an idyllic town situated in the Alps in northern Italy's South Tyrol area. The apartment consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, 2 bedrooms as well as one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 4 people. The apartment features Wi-Fi, cable and satellite television, and has heating, including a wood stove. The apartment is child-friendly and a highchair, baby bed, and toys are available (upon request) and there is also a playground. Guests can enjoy the spectacular mountain view or relax outside in the furnished garden or cook on the grill, both shared features. The property is near a variety of bars, restaurants, cafes, and bakeries located just a 10 to 20 minute (6 to 12 km) drive away from the property. The Algund (Lagundo in Italian) area also boasts excellent hiking and biking facilities. The Marlinger Waalweg hiking area is just 20 minutes (11 km) away by car and the Merander Höhenweg is just a 25-minute (9 km) drive. There are hundreds of bike trails in the area ranging from easy to challenging. The section of the Via Claudia Augusta bike trail between Austria and Germany that runs for 33 km between Algund and the town of Bolzano is particularly popular. For winter sport, the Vigiljoch Ski and Hiking area is just under 1 hour (31 km) by car. All destinations can be reached by public transportation. Bolzano-Dolomiti Airport, a small regional airport, is 34 minutes (40 km) by car while Innsbruck International Airport is a 2 hour 15 minute (160 km) drive away.
