Majestic Views

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the cabin was spacious and had great views but not clean. There was hair and hair shavings left in the tub, ring of filth left in the upstairs toilet, iron stain on the down stairs toilet, mold under the sink and toilet. There was a dead roach in the kitchen drawer. Dead roaches all over the floor and steps. I called and was told someone came out and cleaned while I was out but nothing was done. There was so much dust.

Was a quiet spot with plenty of room for all 7 of us. Would book again when in Gatlinburg area.

Cabin was a great place to cool off durning the hot week we had in Gatlinburg. We enjoyed activities in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville.

Great large cabin getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is beautiful! It’s not too far from attractions but sits up on top of the mountain. Views are great from every room! It is 3 stories so be ready to climb some stairs, but perfect getaway. Hot tub was amazing and on 3rd story w great view!

Always a Treat to Stay with Elk Springs Resorts

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The staff at Elk Springs Resort really care about your stay. You will receive multiple texts to make sure you are taken care of. This cabin is nice and will meet your needs during the stay. The property was clean and maintained. We could not get the video game to work as the directions indicated. Very centrally located to all the activities that we did.

Okay Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of elk springs resort was what led to a positive stay. It was centrally located to all the primary areas we wanted to visit, hike and raft. The walkway lights were out and bulbs were not readily available for replacement leaving the primary entrance and walk way not well lit and where the bears visited due to the garbage placement. The furniture was well lived in with an odor in the main living room so we chose to use the dining furniture. Several of the cabinets were dirty or sticky. We had to purchase our own kitchen soap for our stay, along with extra TP and paper towel. The arcade system did not work during our visit. The grill was functioning but not well taken care of and would benefit from a deep clean or replacement. After 2 nights one of the frames of the bed broke, resulting in us having to move the mattress to the floor. The building management were responsive and assigned maintenance to us fairly quickly to fix. The overall stay was somewhat disappointing for what we spent due to some of the amenities or lack of.

Love the View

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the stay at Elk Springs Resort and the cabin we stayed in Majestic Views was just like is states we had other family staying there and we had the most beautiful view of the Smoky Mountains out of all the cabins! That being said I will have to say after seeing the other cabins I can tell you that this one was very dirty. The floors had never been cleaned the windows had never been cleaned. The door on the top porch was wide open when we arrived and by time we left the day before the lock stop working on the door so we couldn’t lock it if we left the house. I really don’t think I can blame this on the resort since I believe the rentals are owned individually but if this is so I would think twice about renting this one until the individual that owns it is willing to put a little more effort into the rental. But we love Elk Springs Resort just not the cabin.

Lots of room and a lot of steps

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A good space, but not good for anyone with difficulty with steps. Three floors, with no bathroom on main (2nd)floor. Suggested improvements: 1) put a keylock on bottom floor as well so you don't have to trudge up a dark incline at night to get into the house (and add path lights). 2) multiple deck boards with loose or exposed nails are a real danger. 3) add mini pool cue as the side walls prevent a real game of pool, 4) hot tub did not smell clean and sanitized, 5) dishwasher was broken all week, although a tech was dispatched for repair, but parts needed to be ordered.

Cabin Life is for me

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Elk Springs Resort is a nice place to visit. Our cabin was decorated so nice and clean. The hot tub was a big hit for my family to relax at night. The staff was friendly and checked on us once we were settled in for the night. We will definitely rent again when we visit Gatlinburg.

Majestic Spring

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we enjoyed ourself, the cabin is very beautiful and spacious. The only negative is the internet went out in the middle of our stay, we called maintenance he couldn't fix so we had no internet or tv so that sucked. Also the bed cover and pillows had a odd old smell to them, I would suggest bringing your own cover and pillow.

Summer 2023 Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I loved this Cabin!I did not like a shared driveway and the trees in the front yard definitely needs to be cut. They only supply you only two days of toiletry items that's such a bummer for the expensive cost of a cabin. Blinds were missing from windows and blind pieces were broken off too throughout the cabin and one of the tv's did not work but I also did a complaint about these items. This resort has a great customer service skills! I will stay here again because of the huge size and layout.

When we arrived there was human hair still in the tubs and sinks that we had to clean . The hot tub had grey lint floating in it. The overall stay was nice and relaxing but I got charged $25 for dog hair having to be cleaned up yet when I arrived there was human hair in tubs and sinks and grey lint in hot tub all of which I had to clean myself before use. I loved the cabin and the space that we had for 10 people. The pool table was fun and the kids enjoyed playing it every night. The dryer was a little slow at drying clothes and had to be run several times to get the clothes dry. The cabin is pet friendly which is a plus but dog hair should be expected when the cleaners are cleaning.

Not as well as expected

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The neighborhood is nice. The walk into the house was steep and rocky. Difficult for young kids and older adults. In bear country and the trash bin is right next to the entry steps! We called to ask about trash pick up and never received a return call from the message we left. The floors were filthy we could not take shoes off inside or feet and or socks became black quickly. The kitchen is so sparsely stocked only bare minimum pots/pans/dishes and not of a food quality. The location was great. But it was expensive and not favorable at all.

Unpleasant Unsanitary

The neighboring housing utilized majority of parking space limiting cars to our area. The bed had bed bugs. My GF and I were repeatedly bitten 2/3 nights. Made 2 reports to the company that were completely disregarded and no follow up from an Elk Springs Representative.

Great Cabin

Dark lighting through out the cabin

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin overall was really spacious. Only complaints would be that it was really dark. The lighting is very bad . inside and had a weird smell throughout the first floor. TV in living room was very bad , and the rest of the tvs in the rooms were very small. There wasn’t trash cans in the bed rooms.
