The entire area plus the vacationing nieghbors were incredible. the eatery was awesome and the property managers were very nice and helpful. we had a great time and plesant stay.

Daytona Condo Review Opus

We absolutely loved our stay! The condo interior is so spacious with the perfect space for family. Having 3 bathrooms was icing on the cake! There were amazing views of the ocean from every window and door! We would highly recommend this stay!

Wonderful Condo!!

The condo is well appointed and incredibly spacious. We had everything we needed for a great vacation. Housekeeping does an excellent job. This may be the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in The only downside was the bedding. The mattress were hard and squeaky. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend to others.

Better Than Expected

Recently stayed at this condo and was surprised how spacious the unit was. Plenty of room for our 6 member family. A small arrival gift of goodies was a nice gesture. Kitchen was stocked with just enough utensils and cookware to eat in, plenty of towels, and starter amounts of paper products, toiletries and cleaning supplies were provided. Beach towels, one umbrella and beach chairs also present but chairs were rusted and not the best to sit in. We enjoyed the game room with pool table and the fitness room was small but workable. The condo is directly on beach and mini golf plus beach stores are across the street. We would stay again!

OPUS Unit 704

Very pleased with this rental. The property was clean, very spacious, and in a great location. Views from the balcony were great.....we watched a NASA Saturn V launch from there! Everything you need is within easy walking distance. Dollar General across the street for small items. Winn Dixie is 100 yards down the road for groceries. If you have kids, go ahead and pay the weekly fee for Congo River Golf directly across the street.....it's worth it. The beach toys in the closet were a nice surprise. Having underground parking felt very secure. Only minor complaint is that it could use a few more towels, wash clothes, and cooking utensils. Would definitely recommend this and stay there again.

Family vaca 2023

The condo was just as pictured. We always come to DBS for our vaca. This was our 1st time at Opus. Ee needed a 3rd bedroom and absolutely had plenty of room with our condo. Having teenagers the 3rd batheoom was very handy. It has the basic kitchen supplies you need. I dont cook much on vacation so i don't need a cook's kitchen. The room was clean, could use a deep clean on the blinds. There was a load of laudry in the dryer we had to fold and put up before using the dryer, but it wasnt no big deal. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. I'm sure once the facility has recovered from last years storms yhe room will be even better.

Perfect ocean views!

704 lived up to the pictures. It’s perfect location for views, sunsets and was a corner unit. The set up with three bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect for our party of 6. The air conditioning stopped and sliding door got stuck but they were fixed. A couple things -2 drawers were broke and one outlet did not work. But they will be repaired. The building staff was nice, it has a nice pool and hot tub, which was great. We used them a lot too. Right on the beach-absolutely beautiful views and the warm breeze on the balcony, so nice. Stores really close by and across street from Congo River golf. Such a fun place. Definitely would rent again!

Beautiful place to stay

The apartment is beautifully decorated; I guess it had been done by a professional interior designer. The view is breathtakingly awesome! The furniture is very nice but also used. You can call it shabby chic though. The bedrooms are spacious and you have a ocean view from each room. Everything was very charming. However there are some down points. The mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced at least place a mattress topper on it. The comforters are in need of a professional cleaning or should be replaced entirely. Also the curtain in the master bedroom was very hard to push and close. The kitchen has everything you need but it is a bit sparsely stocked. Overall we enjoyed our stay there very much and thank the owner for sharing this beautiful place.

One pain.

The condo was big and spacious. When I got the email about my check in there was no code attached or instructions. Contacted the owner and no reply. Finally found out we had to go down the street for the info and key and come back which was frustrating after a log day of driving. Also the door lock to the condo is a pain and probably should be changed. It was very hard to lock/unlock. The condo was clean and had plenty of towels and cooking utensils also there’s some spices provided. Overall it was nice.

Condo is lovely but everything else went wrong!

While it was documented that there was no pool, the site also said there was a pool with pictures of a beautiful pool and hot tub. There was no pool and also, it resembled a swamp, not just that there was no pool, it looked toxic. None of the TV's in the bedrooms worked, we tried repeatedly to work with the property management company, VRBO directly and the owner and never got them working the whole week. While there is nothing VRBO or the management company could do about my next complaint, it happened none the less. There was construction happening in the condo above us, there was no less than 4 hours a day of what sounded like jackhammering going on directly above us, the noise was horrible.

Not sure if cleaning crew even came in!

Condo was not clean. Trash cans in the laundry room and master bathroom had not even been emptied. Floors had not been swept or mopped, they were sandy and there was black hair on the master bathroom floor. Counters in the kitchen had not been wiped down. There was something sticky on main table. Food was left in the refrigerator and canned drinks in the ice dispenser in the freezer. Wondering if cleaning crew even came in. Upon check in had to go and get cleaning supplies to clean floors and bathrooms. The lock on the sliding glass door in the living room was broken and would not lock. Condo was nicely furnished, but not fully stocked as stated in the advertisement. Very limited kitchen utensils, and linens.

Unfortunately I can't give a good review

We received the wrong paperwork in the packet so we didn't have passwords to enter 5he building. Luckily we were able to call minutes before they left the office, but if were been a minute later we would have been left with no where to stay for the night. I am covered in bug bites. We washed sheets but couldn't get rid of it. There was an incident with the hot tub, apparently a computer malfunctioned dumping an excessive amount of chlorine in the tub. My husband this put by sitting in the tub and getting chemical burns on his legs and torso, it burned the hair off his legs and ruined swimsuits. Between the two of us we spent our vacation being very uncomfortable and itchy. The condo was very spacious which was nice but lighting was poor. If your a family that likes to play cards or board games this isn't a good fit.

Spring Break Stay 3/19/22-3/26/22

The condo was very clean and well maintained and was very spacious! This was our first trip to Daytona but it seemed we weren’t far from most of the events we chose to do. I would recommend this condo for sure it’s very nice. The only thing that could simplify things is if there were clear directions on exactly where to park when you arrive that took us some time . Once we discovered the parking garage we did like the fact that it was secured with the gate .
