Very clean house, many activities tether ball, large fire pit, ping pong, children’s toys, kitchen amenities were great, lots of towels, large bedrooms, many places to sit- inside and out, the home owner was very easy to work with. This home was perfect for our family.

This place is huge. We had 16 people and we had room to spare. Hosts are super easy to get along with, and we loved how nice the house was. Big yard and lots of stuff at the house to play with, and many places to sit and lounge outside. It was a joy to stay here.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin — it’s just as gorgeous inside as it is outside! Everything was spotless and so comfortable. The host was incredibly accommodating, even helping us adjust our dates and making a special exception so we could bring our dogs, which meant so much to us. We truly wish we could have stayed longer — it was such a peaceful, wonderful getaway.The only small downside was that the listing was a bit confusing regarding the bedroom count and what was included in the rental, but once we got there, everything worked out perfectly. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would happily come back again! We’d highly recommend!

Fantastic place for family reunion

We had 25 of us and the home was perfect size. We rented both the house and apartment above garage.Kitchen was great and all outdoor activities were fun for all ages.We spent a day at the centennial park with the dock - rented pontoon boat from the other side of lake, and spent whole day at the park, we were only ones at park for most of the day.Hosts were fantastic and extremely responsive.

Our family (21 of us) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home had with everything we needed. We cooked many of our meals in the well-equipped kitchen. Some in our group used the games in the garage and the bikes and kayaks. So much fun! The neighborhood was remote, so plan extra time to get in or out. We enjoyed watching the antelopes that meandered through the yard each morning at sunrise. The views were amazing from the porches. Thanks, Christi for being the best host!

A dream property

We spent 3 nights in The Big Timber Inn. What a Cabin! We reserved both the main house and the apartment above the garage for our group of 24 (5 families). I always rate ease of communication as the most important element in a rental property -- and the owners, Dave and Christy Spinner, are Phenomenal communicators!This home is so wonderfully stocked for kitchen use and the property so well cared for. My wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary, with family and friends at the Timber Inn. The home was clean and very well furnished. Beautiful setting with lots of wildlife and activities nearby. Would definitely love to return in the future.

Annual Family Reunion Destination

We had a great time! The spacious kitchen area, number of bathrooms, hot tub, garage space, and yard were great. The weather was not ideal at our mid-June event, but no one complained because the house had plenty of room for all of us.

Home away from home!

I can’t say enough about this place! It was everything we could have wanted in a rental. Very spacious and oh so comfortable. The owner always responded to any questions I had. We enjoyed the comfort and the games that were available. Looking out one side of the house, you would see the lake, and the other side of the house, the mountains. Star gazing at night was also a highlight for us. Close to all the places we wanted to visit, and coming back to relax. The only thing missing was not meeting the owners. Thank you again for letting us stay in this wonderful home of yours from a very happy Kentucky family of twelve.

Awesome In Every Way

This property is fantastic. Plenty of room for our large group to spread out and also gather for meals, games, and hanging out. The location and surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. The house has everything needed so you feel like you’re at home and can just sit back and relax. This is a top notch property and you will not be disappointed with your stay. We are avid outdoor enthusiasts that love Yellowstone National Park, Snowmobiling, Skiing, and Ice fishing in the Winter, to Camping, 4 wheeling, Hunting, Hiking, Boating, River Floating, Beach Days, Fly Fishing, Sight Seeing, Berry and Mushroom foraging in the Summer. This area Stole our Hearts and keeps us blessed with incredible adventures, experiences and memories. We provide a Clean, Comfy, Well Stocked Home in Island Park and want to earn your repeat business. We are excited to share the comforts of our Family Cabin with others to experience all that Island Park has to offer, including life long Memories.

Perfect location, spacious floor plan, clean, safe 2 Acres to play on, privacy, views, well equipped for large groups. Tons of parking. No need to trailer anything. You can leave right from the house on 4 wheelers, dirt bikes, bicycles, snowmobiles, cross country skis, snowshoes, on foot, kayak, jet skis, boats or paddle boards. Great neighborhood where we feel safe letting the kids play outside without worrying about bears!

Off the beaten path but close to all the area attractions!! Safe and secure gated community. Kitchen is extremely well stocked for cooking for large groups. Lake access and boat ramp within walking distance. Large garage is insulated and heated with a 1/2 bathroom, exercise equipment, shuffle board table, ping pong table 4 kayaks. The outdoor space is set up wonderfully as well with horseshoe pits, fire pit, Volleyball court and tether ball, Cement surrounding the cabin, Outdoor kitchen/BBQ and Smoker (bring your own fire wood for the pit and pellets for the smoker), lounge chairs and hammocks.
