The kitchen is equipped with an induction stove, double sink, dishwasher, and flat-screen TV.
You can also book linen packages (bed linen plus two towels for âŹ20) from our local caretaker (Wolli, Frank Tapfer) and pay him directly on site.
Located just outside the hustle and bustle of Zingst, yet still central, the Boddensonne house is only minutes away by car or bike from the Baltic Sea beaches of Zingst and Prerow. Stralsund, Erdbeerkarl, and the open-air museum in Klockenhagen are also nearby. Former Chancellor Merkel recently inaugurated a new penguin enclosure at the Marlow bird park.
Bodstedt, once a small fishing village, has become increasingly popular with tourists. Situated on the "Southern Bodden Coast," it offers many activities: cycling, sailing, fishing, and surfing. Cultural events abound, including theater performances, sailing and harbor festivals, and chamber music days in Barth.
A local tradition is the annual Zeesenboot Regatta held on the first weekend of September in Bodstedt. Guests can even take a trip on a traditional Zeesen boat.
For large families, both apartments can be rented togetherâideal for holidays with grandparents. If you're interested in crane watching, this is the perfect spot: thousands of cranes rest between the settlement and the Bodden.
Our family has recently welcomed a Bernese Mountain Dog, so dogs are now allowed in the ground-floor apartment. Toys are stored in the plastic chest under the former carport, where you'll also find some repair tools for bicycles.
