Discover our charming holiday home in the typical village of the Geres region, perfectly located near the beautiful Caniçada Dam and surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the Peneda GerĂȘs National Park, one of Portugal's seven natural wonders. This idyllic retreat promises an unrivalled combination of tranquillity and natural beauty, ideal for getting away from it all and breathing in the fresh air in one of Portugal's most spectacular nature reserves.
The interior of the house leaves nothing to be desired. With 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a capacity for 2-4 people, our accommodation offers both comfort and style. The ground floor houses a bedroom with a generous mattress, while the upper floor offers another cosy bedroom. The fully equipped kitchen and spacious living room with dining area, traditional fireplace and modern amenities such as TV, fridge, cooker and microwave guarantee carefree self-catering.
Outside, our guests have access to a private pool (available from 15 April to 15 October), a garden, a barbecue area and parking facilities - perfect for enjoying sunny days to the full and admiring the spectacular views of the mountains, countryside and river. The pool area, exclusively for our guests, offers welcome refreshment and relaxation.
The location of our holiday home is uniquely favourable for exploring the Peneda-GerĂȘs National Park. With more than 70,000 hectares of protected landscape, the park offers breathtaking natural beauty - from hidden waterfalls and crystal-clear lakes to majestic mountains. Just a short drive away you'll find good inland beaches, charming villages and a range of activities to enjoy the natural surroundings. In addition, restaurants, supermarkets and local attractions such as the Spa of Geres and the village of Vieira do Minho are within easy reach.
