There is space near the house for playing football, badminton or other sports. Children can go swimming, fishing or boating behind the house.

The house lies by the open channel to Ijsselmeer. You can go on boat trips on Ijsselmeer from your own boat jetty, or just cruise around at the park e.g. with a dinghy. The sandy and surfing beach with a boulevard is only a couple of hundred metres away through the park.
