A stone staircase leads up to the terrace and the renovated 65 mÂČ flat on the first floor. It consists of a living room with a comfortable sitting area with TV, a dining area with a large cupboard and a fully equipped kitchen with induction hob, microwave, mini-oven, fridge with freezer compartment and dishwasher. The flat has two bedrooms. These have a 140 cm-wide double bed and a bunk bed with two 90 cm-wide beds. The bathroom has a washbasin, shower and toilet. The washing machine is in the cellar on the ground floor.
The house faces south and overlooks the entire valley. You can enjoy this beautiful view from the private terrace, which is equipped with eight sets of garden furniture. An electric sunblind protects you from too much heat in summer, so you can sit back and relax. The house has its own garden. Two parking spaces are available for guests. During the summer months, the owner's mother lives on the second floor and looks after the estate.
The house is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, accessible via a narrow road. Vehicles can be parked in the courtyard or in a parking area just in front of the property.
St Germain de Calberte, seven kilometres away, has small shops and a doctor. In AlĂšs, Florac or St Jean du Gard (30 kilometres away) there are other shops and service providers.
Swimming is available in the surrounding area, either in the Gardon river or in the nearby swimming pool. In this region, you will find untamed nature and tranquillity.
The flat is the ideal starting point for a variety of walks to discover the Cévennes landscape. Why not take the famous GR 70, the Stevenson trail, the ruins of the Chùteau de St Julien d'Arpaon, Mont BougÚs or LozÚre, the Causses du Méjean, or the Camisard memorial sites.
If you prefer canoeing, a trip to the Gorges du Tarn or de la Jonte is a must. The entrance to the gorges is 30 kilometres from your holiday rental. Why not try a trip with the boatmen of La MalĂšne, a visit to the house of vultures, a canyoning trip in the Tapoul gorges or the via ferrata at Florac.
