San Vigilio di Marebbe - the Dolomites within reach San Vigilio di Marebbe - or "Mareo", as the locals call it - is the northernmost municipality in Val Badia. It is made up of the villages of Pfarre, Welschellen, Zwischenwasser and the picturesque main town of St. Vigil at the foot of the Dolomites. Almost 1,300 inhabitants live in this picturesque mountain village at 1,200 metres above sea level.
