This atmospheric holiday home is situated with a larger holiday home on a well-kept garden-like plot. The casinha faces the sea and is south-facing in front of the larger house. It has a bedroom with a double bed (140 cm) and air conditioning, a bathroom with shower and WC and a living/dining room with a well-equipped kitchenette.
In the house there is a well-stocked library and a flat-screen TV with the possibility of receiving all programmes.
The house is heated by a wood-burning stove and central underfloor heating, which can be individually regulated in each room.
This makes the house ideal for the low and winter seasons.
Both houses share a small, secluded pool. The house has a separate, wind-protected terrace with awning and sea view, and from the roof terrace you have a wonderful view of the Ria Formosa. There is also a shady seating area in the neighbouring eucalyptus grove. Whether you just want to relax, enjoy the Atlantic Ocean and the beach or plan hikes, bike tours or bird watching in the lagoon landscape of the Ria Formosa nature reserve, the Casinha offers you the necessary comfort and is your ideal starting point. The nearest village, Fuseta, a fishing village 1.8 km from the holiday home, is also within easy walking distance. Here you will find restaurants, cafés and shops, bike hire and the ferry to the offshore island with the open Atlantic Ocean. You can also swim in the lagoon, which is well protected. The municipal town of Olhao is six kilometres away and ferries to the islands also depart from here.
