Den byggdes pÄ 1860-talet av George Flynn (en skomakare) för hans familj och senare under andra vÀrldskriget, var det en mötesplats för riddarna av Columbus. Rik pÄ historia, har hemmet nyligen renoverats för att presentera moderna bekvÀmligheter samtidigt som fastighetens gamla charm som bred planka golv och franska dörrar.

Den Flynn House sover upp till 8 personer och har tvÄ badrum och ett pulver rum med handfat och toalett, fyra sovrum, en stor matsal och vardagsrum och ett fullt utrustat kök.

Vi erbjuder en rökfri, djurfri miljö. Alla handdukar och sĂ€ngklĂ€der ingĂ„r. Öppet Ă„ret runt.

Family Gathering for a Celebration of Life

Family from Toronto, California and Nova Scotia stayed here for a family Celebration of Life. Florida family stayed down the street. The location was wonderful, the house was great and it was perfect for our weekend to celebrate the life of Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma.

Wine Trip

Definitely old-world charm. Super comfortable beds. Well stocked kitchen, including French press. Steps away from Queen Street & the river.@ 10 minutes' drive to multiple wineries. Highly recommend this house.

Great Stay

We had a great time at NOTL. The Flynn House was a great location for us. We were able to walk to everything. Plenty of space as well. We enjoyed our stay there.

The location and size of the property are excellent. It could do with a few additional seats inside and out, given that it could sleep 8 people.

Incredible location!

We have stayed in many different homes in NOTL but this is the gem! The homeowner was always accessible and responded quickly. The house was a perfect size for our family and the yard was ideal for our young grandsons to play and run. We did not need to drive once we parked our cars as the shopping and amazing theaters were steps away. We will definitely be returning!

Perfect Location

We live in the US and had family visiting from Ireland who wanted to see Niagara Falls. There is an Irish restaurant right across the street from the property and we had a spectacular time there the first night.The house itself is historic and charming and the beds were super comfortable. Its location is so close and an easy walking distance to the wonderful shops in the area.My only negative comment would probably be that, although there's a coffee maker, there was no coffee, just a drawer filled with tea. There are no amenities to speak of so you need to bring everything you might need. There's also a small grocery store within walking distance, which was our first order of business upon arriving. We would definitely stay there again!*** We didn't go to any of the wineries but this review insists that you rate your experience.

Highly recommend. Better than the photos show! Steps from Queen Street and Irish Pubs and many patios and restaurants. Great decor and history. Beds are very comfy and bathrooms great. Only negative was we were party of 8 and only 5 coffee mugs, etc...

Perfect home near all the action

Everything about the house was lovely, especially the outside table and chairs in the secluded backyard! But most important for my friends and me was the location location location! We parked the car in the driveway when we arrived, and there it stayed till we departed. We (all over 75) walked to all the plays and restaurants, and even the lakeside, with ease..

Weekend get away in NOTL

The house and property was beautiful - online listing 100% accurate (I would even say nicer in person!). It was a breeze communicating with the property manager. For downtown NOTL, the location is amazing. We stayed as a family for a wedding, and the house comfortably sleeps 8 (4 couples, though only one king bed). The only, very minor, issue was getting ready for the wedding - not enough mirrors for the females! But all in all, a wonderful place and our stay was great!

Nice house

The house was very nice, old but well taken care of. The location is ideal, walking distance from everything. Kitchen was well equiped (we would need a nice frying pan for steaks, only antiadhesives ones) The beds were confortable, linens were perfect and clean. Now for the negatives : we were 6 adults and a small baby, 5 chairs outside, 5 coffee mugs. The chairs in the dining room were falling apart and a high chair would have been nice too. Nevertheless, we would go back, it was a nice stay.

What a lovely home!

This is an absolutely charming home. The kitchen is very well equipped (glassware, pots/pans/knives/utensils, etc.). The bedrooms are spacious, and the beds were very comfortable (medium-firm) - with lots of extra blankets and pillows. The bathrooms were all very clean, and the showers had great water pressure, and there were soaps and shampoo/conditioner included. The photos accurately portray the rooms. This is a keeper.

Enjoyable stay/great location!

We recently spent two nights and enjoyed our accommodations. the house is lovely, clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that the 4th bedroom had a pull out couch that is very uncomfortable for sleeping. My sister, who was the unlucky one in this room, eventually had to put the mattress on the floor to try and sleep. She was not a 'happy camper'!! That was the only downside to our visit.

Lovely farmhouse

Walking to everything was great! Beds all comfortable! Very clean, bright and tastefully decorated. The group of seven would recommend a “Welcome Booklet” be left in the house for a few things: where the “starter coffee” is, where the thermostat is (we were very cold the first evening and thought the floor warmer in the kitchen was the thermostat brr , indicating the position of the floor warmer and how to use it (we were able to Google). a toaster, local tourist brochures, list of attractions and restaurants etc would be helpful and make planning more expedient. Wrote twice via VRBO with questions to better plan our grocery shopping and never received an answer.

Good and Bad

As a group of 5 well travelled women, we had the opportunity to stay in many VRBOs. Of our most recent week long stay in your historical home, we have a number of concerns, many of which have been noted by previous guests as far back as 2016. We feel addressing the following issues would enhance guest experience. The house had a musty smell from the basement. No hooks were provided in the bathrooms for hanging wet towels. Wanting to be respectful of your property, a binder would have been helpful to understand how the house functioned. For example, we never did get the tvs to work consistently, no outdoor containers to put garbage or recyclables were provided. Not noted by guests so perhaps a new issue, was the apparent noise of animals heard in the walls. When advised, you mentioned you would call in exterminators to examine this. We hope that you have been able to resolve this successfully. We appreciated the renovations that you have completed in the house but the outside house and grounds are in need of attention. Location was fabulous, room size incredible and 3 bathrooms much appreciated for a group of our size. Beds and lines were lovely.

Great location. Well-equipped kitchen. Theaters, shops, and restaurants nearby. We would stay again. Suggestions:Unlocking back door was a challenge. Wood around tub and baseboards in upstairs bathroom were not clean. Lamp needed in first upstairs bedroom.
