The beautiful and quiet holiday home "Marita" is located in a cul-de-sac in the municipality of Krummhörn in the beautiful village of Hamswehrum, just a few kilometres from the famous fishing village of Greetsiel and the North Sea coast with the Wadden Sea National Park. The city of Emden and the connection to the A31 motorway are approx. 15 minutes away by car. The "highlight" is the short distance to the Upleward dry beach. This covers an area of 9,000 square metres and offers sunbathing areas, volleyball courts, free beach chairs, a large children's playground, kite surfing, restaurants and much more. The "Huus an't Dörpdiek" is located on the edge of the old village of Hamswehrum, just 1500 metres from the dyke and the Wadden Sea. From here you can easily set off on hikes, cycle tours and excursions by car in the surrounding area. The bathing area with the newly created dry beach is 2500 metres away and can easily be reached by bike. In Pewsum, 5 km away, there are supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, pharmacies and doctors' surgeries. The picturesque old fishing village of Greetsiel is approx. 8 km away, Emden approx. 12 km and Norden/Norddeich approx. 25 km.

Our holiday home is located in the beautiful Krummhörn in the village of "Hamswehrum". Hamswehrum is situated between Pewsum and Campen. Long cycle paths directly on the dyke invite you to go on tours. In the village, the holiday home borders directly on the village pond, affectionately known as the "Dopke". The village pond is home to many frogs in summer. There is a circular path and benches with tables. Here you can sit and listen to the frogs mating calls and relax with a picnic. There is a public playground for your children about 150 metres away.

There are now two parking spaces for your car directly in front of the holiday home (not yet shown in the pictures). This allows you to unload your luggage quickly and easily after your arrival. You can store your bikes in the 25 square metre covered and wind-protected terrace area, where you can easily charge your e-bikes. You have direct access to the terrace from the parking spaces (also not yet shown in the pictures). A beautiful sun terrace (with awning and beach chair), the covered terrace area with barbecue facilities, as well as another separate barbecue area with seating invite you to relax and linger.
Bed linen and towels are already included in the price, the beds are freshly made and a small welcome gift is waiting for you. You can also use a washing machine free of charge.
The living room and bathroom are also equipped with underfloor heating, which enhances the cosy atmosphere in the cold season.

All rooms can be darkened, mostly with external roller blinds.

There is also a guest WC on the ground floor.
