Die Casita ist einfach ein Traum in Alleinlage auf einem wunderschönen 3 Hektar großen Anwesen. Haus und Garten sind top gepflegt, sauber und die Einrichtung, Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Von Küche über Föhn bis zum Bügeleisen - einfach alles da. Die Gastgeber sind jederzeit erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Es ist ein zentraler Ausgangspunkt in alle Richtungen der Insel. 100% Weiterempfehlung!

Für uns hat alles in diesem Häuschen gepasst . Trotz Corona Krise war alles toll. Für uns war die Ausgangssperre kein Stress. An diesem Platz scheint nicht mal so eine Situation bedrohlich.

Uniek verblijf

Wij mochten een week lang verblijven in dit enige natuur stenen huis, gelegen in een groot domein op de flanken van de Caldera de Taburiente. Het huis is heel rustiek en smaakvol ingericht en voorzien van alle nuts voorzieningen. Een bijkomende troef is het grote groene en rustige domein, terwijl het toch heel centraal is gelegen op het eiland La Palma. De nabijheid van El Paso 5km van het domein is ook een troef wat winkel mogelijkheden betreft. Vanuit het domein kan je ook snel de vele (steile) wandelingen bereiken van de Caldera en tevens ook van de vulkanen route. Een heel geslaagd verblijf was het zeker!

Fazinierendes Objekt mitten in der Natur.

Um die Ruhe zu genießen ist es auf dem Punkt gebracht ein Traumobjekt. Die Betreuung vor Ort war 1 A und nicht zu übertreffen. Wer einen Rückzugsort zum Entspannen sucht, ist dort mehr als gut aufgehoben.

Das Haus entspricht vollständig der Beschreibung. Es hat eine sehr gute Lage für Unternehmungen und Aktivitäten. Es wird sich sehr gut um die Gäste gekümmert. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt auf El Pinar.

Ruhe Oase im Natur

Mike ist ein toller Gastgeber, sehr zugeneigt und hilfsbereit. Das Haus liegt mit ein anderes grosseres Haus auf ein eigen grossen Grundstück im Wald. Schönes Haus mit offenen Kamin, hat ein alten Atmosphere und ist im prima Zustand. Guten Ausflugpunkt für Bergwanderungen im Mitte von La Palma

Verwunschen und gepflegt - Gute Betreuung durch Mike Schwalbe

 (+) Das Haus wirkt direkt verwunschen und ist sehr gepflegt. Das Haus ist insgesamt beeindruckend und „so, wie vom Vermieter beschrieben“. Es gibt eine wohnliche und sehr gut ausgestattete Küche mit Geschirrspülmaschine und mit genügend Geschirr und Besteck. Der Außengrill ist ebenfalls o.k, so dass die günstigen und guten Einkäufe aus den nahegelegenen Einkaufzentren in EL Paso (mit dem Auto in 5 Minuten erreichbar) auch hier perfekt verarbeitet werden können. Da wir bei kühlerem Wetter dort waren, erwies sich die Zentralheizung als großer Segen. Auch mit dem offenen Kamin kann jederzeit zusätzlich im Wohnzimmer geheizt werden. Mike Schwalbe ist schlichtweg „die gute Fee“ des Anwesens. Er informiert über laufende Aktivitäten, beantwortet alle Fragen, erfüllt Wünsche und reagiert sofort.  (-) Für Sonnenanbeter spenden die Bäume rund um das Natursteinhaus in den Wintermonaten u.E. sehr viel Schatten. Natürlich teilt man sich ein solches Haus wenigstens mit Ameisen, Gekos und Motten. Fliegengitter an ca. 5 Fenstern sollten nachgerüstet werden (siehe auch Feedback Juni 2017). Die Haltung der Tiere auf dem „großen und gepflegten Grundstück mit verschiedenen Gärten und einem privaten Tennisplatz“ sollte entsprechend anspruchs-,art- und kindgerecht angepasst werden (Details dazu haben wir dem Vermieter direkt übermittelt). Dem Preisverhältnis (ca. 150€/Tag) angepasst wäre u.E. eine 2* wöchentliche – hier includierte – Reinigung.

Ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen - Service wird groß geschrieben

Wir hatten zwei wundervolle Wochen auf La Palma. Einen großen Anteil daran hatte dieses tolle, gemütliche und gepflegte Haus in ruhiger Umgebung. Einfach traumhaft! Danke an Mike für die nette Unterstützung, die vielen Tipps und die schnelle Beseitigung kleinerer Störungen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein toller Urlaub!

Wir hatten wunderschöne 2 Wochen in diesem tollen Haus. Die Bilder haben nicht zuviel versprochen. Es ist gemütlich, alles ist da was man braucht. Der große Kamin hat uns gute Dienste geleistet. :-) Ein besonderes Danke an Mike, der uns die ganze Zeit super betreut hat. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Geweldig verblijf met veel privacy

Ons verblijf op Casa Roberto was geweldig. In een van de mooiste en centrale omgevingen van La Palma. Vanaf deze plek konden wij eenvoudig het hele eiland ontdekken met de auto. Het terrein om het huis heen was enorm groot met veel privacy en wij hadden altijd wel een plekje in de zon terwijl er veel dennenbomen om het huis heen stonden. In het huis was alles goed voorzien, schoon, fris en een heel opvallend grote open haard die we konden gebruiken voor in de koelere avonden gezien de periode van het jaar dat we er waren (Februari). En dat was echt een geweldige fijne belevenis!! In het huis was alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt tijdens het verblijf. Met een buiten Weber BBQ en binnen in het huis in de keuken hebben we naast het fornuis zelfs hamburgers klaargemaakt op een houtskool grill. De inrichting van het huis is een mix van antiek en gezelligheid. Perfect gewoon. Het bijzondere unieke aan dit verblijf waren ook de dieren zoals schapen, kippen en vogels die op een afgezet stuk grond op het terrein zijn. Dit maakte voor ons het verblijf zeer speciaal en het was fijn om deze dieren dagelijks even gedag te zeggen. Daarnaast willen we nog een bijzonder compliment geven aan Mike, ons aanspreekpersoon tijdens ons verblijf. Hij had ons netjes rondgeleid in het huis bij aankomst en was eenvoudig bereikbaar voor als we vragen hadden. Hij was de beste gastheer die we ooit hebben leren kennen. Mike zorgde voor een speciaal gevoel alsof we een koning en koningin waren. Het huis is echt een paradijs en wij zullen dit verblijf aanbevelen aan vrienden die we kennen die La Palma willen ontdekken. Eigenlijk wilde we er voor altijd blijven.... Casa roberto is simply perfect, we had a wonderful week in January 2018

LA Palma is a small and less commercial Canary island only slightly touched by tourism. Casa Roberto sits on a secluded hillside with distant views of the sea on the edge of the national park/ pine forests. The accommodation is quiet, private and secluded but in very easy reach of good restaurants, bars and a very big supermarket. The best of both worlds. We had the best week ever. We got lost in our hire car on the way from the airport but mike was on the end of the phone and was helpful, he even went to a supermarket for us and got some essential supplies as we arrived late on a Sunday night. The accommodation is lovely, the cottage has been renovated to a very high standard and is very comfortable and homely. The kitchen is very well equipped and we spend most night shifts in front of an open log fire sat on a comfy sofa - bliss! After we booked and paid we read a horrible review from someone commenting on Casa Roberto in a very negative way, it did worry us slightly. On entering all that washed away, we didn't recognise anything they said - aside from the loo roll bin experience which is standard on these islands. It's simply wonderful Thank you, especially to Mike Stephen & Tracy X

Der perfekte Urlaubsort für gute Erholung

Ein echtes Erlebnis und der 1. Minute an. Das Ferienhaus bestens ausgestattet, die Lage einfach traumhaft. Die auf der Finca vorhandenen Tiere runden das Gefühl eines echten Finca Urlaubs ab. Herr Schwalbe , der gute Geist der Finca, hat uns bestens umsorgt. So fanden wir bei der Anreise einen nach unseren Wünschen bestückten Kühlschrank vor, da der Supermarkt schon geschlossen hatte. Unser Fazit : der perfekte Urlaubsort für gute Erholung in herrlicher Umgebung

Rustikales Erlebnis in wunderbarer Umgebung

Das Haus liegt in ausgezeichneter Lage zur Erkundung der gesamten Insel. Das Innere ist geschmackvoll rustikal eingerichtet- alle vorhandenen Geräte und Installationen funktionierten tadellos- wir fühlten uns sofort wohl und wie zu Hause. Das Haus war auch sehr sauber geputzt. Die Umgebung ist ruhig, der Blick in den unverbauten Wald ist sehr erholsam- das Haus liegt in der Nähe des Nationalparkes und des Hauptkraters der Insel, was dortige Wanderungen erleichtert. Wir haben uns im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Haus jedem empfehlen, der Ruhe und einen zentralen Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung der Insel sucht. An dieser Stelle sei auch Herrn Mike Schwalbe gedankt, der vor Ort in jeder Hinsicht um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht ist. Wir werden gerne hierher zurückkommen.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

You have now read all the good reviews but we think it is only fair to hear the other side of the story from a mature couple. In sum, this was by far the worst experience we have ever had renting a temporary residence and we have traveled the world over. To begin, the access is up a steep, very narrow, zig zag, driveway, in the center of which is a drainage canal and on the sides is dense vegetation. Once “there” you need to navigate a cobble stone path uphill with many steps to reach home away from home. The “villa” is DARK and DEPRESSING, with or without lighting, with outdated and well-worn furnishings, which are most uncomfortable. The outside seating is unsittable as there is a wooden picnic table for eating and another table made from steel with chairs of similar material. In the rear, there are chaises made of plastic but they do not have any cushions. Beware, that quite close to the “villa” there is an animal pen with lambs, roosters and hens, all of which STINK, which only adds to the dread, not to mention the constant noise. Maybe, the absolute worst part of this experience WAS that WE WERE INSTRUCTED TO NOT PUT PAPER IN THE TOILET - so you must bag and dispose of your waste – UGH! We GAGGED and it discouraged us from even using the toilet since it was so disgusting. We would have rather camped at a park site where we could have used an outhouse and saved a lot of money. Since the only screens are in the bedrooms, there is no way to get any fresh air into the Villa except by opening the doors. Simple enough? But, by opening, you invite every flying and walking creature known to man to enter. Alas, you might ask, what about getting a breeze from a fan – NO SUCH LUCK! Think about bringing groceries up the tortuous path! Since the water is not drinkable, you must bring in lots and lots of water to drink and cook with – think HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY! The internet was good inside but did not reach outside. The refrigerator is tiny and is more appropriate for a one night stand, not a 7 night minimum. Ice? Dream on - no G&T here! Our advice – AVOID at all costs. We wouldn’t return for Free.

Great place and great property

La palma is not only an island, it is a paradise with a really good weather and very interesting people. We stay at this place, Casa Roberto, 11 days and the possibility of being almost inside the natural reserve was really a dream. The house is very confortable and well located in the forest and the people in charge, Mike, very friendly and ready for giving help at any moment. Of course it is not located near the beach, but 15 minutes by car to the nearest beach is not a problem. Really good place for having real relax and to connect to the nature. Of course, we will be back!!!

Schönes, gemütliches Haus in toller Umgebung

Man kann gemütliche und entspannte Tage in diesem Haus verbringen. Sehr freundlich und nett ist Mike, der Betreuer vor Ort. Im Haus ist es recht "heimelig", recht dunkel aber gemütlich. Sehr schöne Möbel, Deco und Bilder. Super Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen auf LaPalma. Kritikpunkt: Matratzen und Betten im Schlafzimmer unter dem Dach sind eigentlich nicht zumutbar für Erwachsene- schon gar nicht für diesen Preis...Fliegengitter vor den Schlafzimmerfenstern wären auch prima.

Herrliches Wetter, tolles Quartier

Wir sind nun schon einige Tage wieder im kalten Deutschland. Ihr seid um das Wetter zu beneiden. Es war ein wundervoller Urlaub, eine wunderschöne Finca. Der offene Kamin wurde täglich gut mit den endlos vorhandenen Pinienzapfen gefüttert. Das fehlt uns derzeit im kühlen Deutschland. Vielen Dank an die liebe Betreuung durch Mike. Exceptional house, stylish but comfortable with everything needed and more.

We had a lovely holiday at Casa Roberta. It's a great base to stay for visiting the national park. Extremely relaxing environment and beautiful too. The manager Mike could not have been more wecolming and helpful, we appreciated this very much. We loved the fire for the cooler evenings in the very relaxing lounge. A great atmosphere overall and we would definitely recommend a stay here.

Hexenhaus im Pinienwald

Casa Roberto ist ein wunderschönes und verwunschenes Haus in dem man sich hervorragend erholen kann, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und einer alten Palmerischen Küche nachempfunden, sogar mit einer offenen Feuerstelle, die man mit Glut bestücken könnte und darauf grillen. Einfacher ist allerdings der schöne neue Weber Gasgrill vor dem Haus. Das Haus hat Zentralheizung, das ist selten auf La Palma, mussten wir wegen Calima auch nicht benützen. Durch das Riesengrundstück waren wir sehr ungestört und konnten abends den tollsten Kamin, den wir jemals hatten, und wir hatten schon einige, befeuern. Mike, der Verwalter hat uns gut mit Holz versorgt, außerdem ist der ganze Pinienwaldboden mit Pinienzapfen in ausreichender Anzahl belegt. Mike, vielen Dank für die gute Betreuung und die Tips und auch für den wohlgefüllten Obstteller und die Getränke, es war sehr schön.

Beautiful secluded house perfect for walking

Beautiful house secluded in the pine forest in a perfect location for amazing walks. The house was very clean and well maintained, situated in the pines and with gardens leading to it of orange trees and flowers. It felt homely, and very comfortable, with good central heating, lots of hot water and warm fluffy towels, which was perfect after our long walks all day. The management team are easily available and helpful, but unobtrusive and you can peacefully enjoy your stay knowing there are people available if you need them. If you want to walk this is the perfect location, stunning views, peaceful and 2 minutes from the visitors centre where they can help you with maps and advice. Although you need a car, we didn't use the car every day as there are walking options straight from the door, up to Pico Bejenado and the Caldera. We also walked some days into El Paso, the nearest town, just to enjoy looking at all the colourful houses and village life on the way, though can drive in 5 minutes. El Paso has a good supermarket with everything we needed for home cooking. La Palma is a beautiful island with lots to discover and this is a great central location to get to all parts of the island if you want to explore further than the National Park. Myself and my partner had such a peaceful holiday, perfect for recharging the batteries, and I would highly recommend Casa Roberto, and would love to stay again.

Perfect Place to Escape to

Accurate description of the location and facilities, photos don't do the place justice although they are beautiful! Very clean, lovely pine smell, secluded. Great staff available when you need them but not intrusive. Bring some warm clothes if you are going during the winter as the temperature drops in the evening. Loved the tennis court and mini farm. Fireplace is a real highlight. Good cooking facilities and towels etc are all provided. We used the washing machine and tumble dryer without any problems. Definitely hire a car as you'll need it to get about! Good central location on the island meaning it is easy to go in any direction. Very happy with out stay and would highly recommend!
