The 65m² holiday apartment is at the foot of Greifeinstein Castle and can accommodate four people. You can explore the valleys and forests all around Bad Blankenburg directly from here on foot or by bike and observe many animals that are not native to the whole of Germany, such as the dipper, the fire salamander or the stag beetle.

You can grill bratwurst on the charcoal grill, which you can then enjoy in the garden with a panoramic view over the town. The terrace is for private use, the garden is for shared use. You can hire two bicycles locally for a fee.

Your holiday accommodation is on the first floor of a three-storey building and provides two bedrooms, of which one is furnished with a double bed (180 x 200cm) and the second with two single bed (90 x 200cm). Bad Blankenburg is an idyllically situated little town at the entrance to the picturesque Schwarza Valley. The town is characterised by its proximity and good connections to significant cities such as Weimar, Erfurt and Jena, as well as many interesting trip destinations. The clear air, the special climate and the varied landscape make Bad Blankenburg a paradise for body and soul. You can enjoy the variety of flora and fauna along the Schwarza or in the surrounding mountains and hiking areas along waymarked paths. There are good conditions for lavender to grow in the area of the Thuringian herb garden and it is becoming a characteristic feature of the region. The landmark of the town is Greifenstein Castle. The town has a Kurpark, a healing spring pavilion and an outdoor pool. Five major tourist routes pass through it.
