Great location, needs maintenance

This is a very nice property in a beautiful location in Aspen. The room had minor maintenance issues. The shower did not drain, the heat register was broken and the garbage disposal missing a cover. Again minor issues. On another note, we enjoyed our stay in Aspen.

Excellent location

Walk to restaurants and shopping, walk to the gondola, walk to great hiking/trailheads, shuttle service to and from the Aspen airport - no rental car needed. We really enjoyed our stay.

A+ Aspen Accommodation

Our stay was excellent. Large bedroom, living room was comfortable, fully stocked kitchen and the fireplace was great. The restaurant, pool and hot tub was a short walk. We walked into downtown Aspen to explore the town, shop and have dinner.

Overall we loved our time at the property. There was a slow drain that made the shower not all that relaxing but we felt like the real fire made up for it. I do feel like it could have been cleaner, there seemed to be a lack of attention to detail that I prefer (for example coffee stains on coasters).

Great location, needs just a little tlc

The location is just great - walking distance to shops, restaurants, grocery store and fabulous hiking trails. Never moved the car during our 4 night stay. Bedroom and bed very comfortable with lovely view. I believe the bedroom and bathroom were recently updated. I have to say though, the unit did not come off as clean and during these covid times it is so so important. Looking past the stained carpet (I would suggest it be torn up and be replaced with tile that looks like wood), the kitchen needs a deep cleaning. Opening the cabinet under the sink was distressing. Was left with a dirty sponge and dish rack that should be thrown out. The bottom of the cabinet was dirty and stained - just creepy. Between that and the carpet, it was difficult to feel totally comfortable. With a little more effort this could be a 5 star unit.

Other than a glitch with the toilet for one nite, which I was able to repair, the stay was fabulous. The owner responded and is in process of fixing the issue. We very much enjoyed our stay.

A very special place in a wonderful location!

 We loved our stay at The Gant! Lynn’s condo is tastefully decorated, filled with comfortable furnishings, quality linens and the kitchen is equipped with all the essentials. The humidifiers were greatly appreciated! The condo’s location is conveniently located within The Gant complex and is an easy walk to nearby restaurants and shopping. We rode The Gant’s shuttle van to get to and from the Gondola and the local free bus depot. We travel extensively and consider this lovely apartment as one of our favorite "homeaway" places to enjoy. For us, it is a very special place in a wonderful location. We look forward to staying here again in the near future.

Great stay in Aspen

From the initial enquiry to booking to finally arriving and checking in, the communication and ease of getting to The Gant and commuting to and from town has all been so easy and efficient. Even though it’s a 5 min walk to the center of town, there was always a shuttle and friendly driver on hand should we needed it. Highly recommend The Gant and we look forward to our next trip.

Great property and great location

My wife, son, and I went to Aspen for a birthday weekend. We had a blast. The property is located near the heart of Aspen. We could walk to restaurants and shops. We will be going back.

Great Location

A good value for the fantastic location. Hotel amenities such as the pool, coffee shop, tennis courts, and shuttle service were nice. The unit had everything you could need, it wasn't fancy, but it was comfortable.

Great property conveniently located to slope and town. Grocery store just a short stroll from property. Most activities are in walking distance as peaking in city can be expensive. Went last week of May, snow 4 days out of 6. Nice but unexpected. Unit clean and no issues during stay. Would have no problem staying again, and Gant facilities were great to.

Great stay- would return

We were very happy with our stay. As long time visitors of the Gant, we were happy to find this listing on VRBO at a favorable price. This accommodation does need some love and would benefit from a soft remodel, but we did not find it to be stuffy. Above all, we loved that we still had access to the Gant amenities (pool, bus, concierge, etc.). Lynn, the host, was great to work during our stay as well- easy to reach when we needed her. We would stay in this listing again.

I fell in love with Aspen on my first visit which lasted all of four hours and vowed one day to own an apartment here. I just purchased this unit this spring and look forward to coming out to enjoy Aspen's natural beauty year-round. Every season offers something special and if you appreciate nature, culture and, of course skiing, you too will love it here.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Having just sold another property, I chose to purchase at The Gant because of the amenities available on-site including very private location with two balconies, mountain views, and fireplace which is stocked with wood for the winter months. The unit is the largest one bedroom available at The Gant so it provides extra living space for a family or small group.
