Holiday park Grafschaft Bentheim is located near the town of Uelsen, just 4 kilometers from the Dutch border, in the wooded area of the county of Bentheim. The slightly sloping landscape offers many opportunities for extensive walking and cycling. The park is an ideal holiday destination for families with young children, but also for nature lovers.
Behind the park you can walk straight into the forest. Do you want to swim? This is possible in the nearby swimming pools (2.5 km), where you can enjoy hours of water fun. You can cycle beautifully in the wooded area. At the reception you can get information about cycling and walking routes. 2 washing machines and 2 dryers are available. If you want to wash, make an appointment at the reception. The washroom is open like the reception.
There is a large adventure playground 500 m from the park where children can play for free. Wi-Fi internet is available, with possible fluctuations in the house. Unfortunately, not all houses have Wi-Fi internet. Working online or downloading files is unfortunately not possible. Wi-Fi is only suitable for messenger services such as WhatsApp.
The detached bungalows Comfort Wellness are suitable for a maximum of 4 people. The bungalows are detached and have a private garden and 1 parking space. The living room contains a seating and dining area. The open kitchen is equipped with a combination of a microwave, fridge with freezer, kettle, coffee machine, toaster and ceramic hob and dishwasher.
The houses have 2 bedrooms, each with a box spring bed with 2 mattresses. The beds have single duvets and pillows. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. The bungalow (Nr. 55+60) has a hot water boiler which is suitable for 1x shower, after which the boiler has to heat up again.
You can relax in an extra room in the infrared sauna. Outside, you can enjoy a luxurious four-person hot tub.
The houses are equipped with a 50-inch television with German and Dutch channels (NED 1,2 & 3). There is also a radio.
You can relax on the covered, furnished terrace.
This house has a comfortable living room and very comfortable beds.
Free WI-FI for guests! Unfortunately, not all houses have good reception. You can't work online or download files.
The spa town Uelsen is a cozy village in the middle of the authentic Grafschaft Bentheim region. The County of Bentheim lets you enjoy boundlessness in a beautiful rolling hilly landscape, where forests, heaths, meadows and fields alternate. The restored wind and water mills show the unmistakably Dutch influence on the village. About 2 km from the park are an open-air swimming pool with slides, diving boards and sunbathing area (open in good weather from mid-May to mid-September) and the indoor swimming pool with the longest slide in the region. There are also mini golf (open from early April to mid October), bowling alley and a tennis court.
Especially for the active holiday maker there is the Bicycle bus (with trailer). It runs on 2 routes between Bad Bentheim and Emlichheim during the summer holidays and weekends, you can get off anywhere, after which you can complete the tour on foot or by bike.
Bad Bentheim has a beautiful 18-hole golf course. Within a radius of 40 km you will find a large number of interesting trips such as the animal park in Nordhorn (our guests receive a 25% discount on the admission price, ask for the discount card at the reception). Then there is Emmen Zoo 'Wildlands', the amusement parks in Hellendoorn and Slagharen and Plopsa Indoor in Coevorden. The Moviepark at Bottrop is also only 1.5 hours away.
The nice towns of Tubbergen with a tropical swimming paradise (8 km), Nordhorn and Ootmarsum are certainly worth a visit. The spa town of Bad Bentheim, with its narrow streets and alleys, should not be missed on your vacation. It has a cozy center with an almost 1000 year old castle.
In short, you go on holiday to a versatile environment with many options for everyone.

To maintain a pleasant environment for all our guests, smoking is not allowed inside any of the accommodations.
Unfortunately, bicycle rentals are not available at the holiday park itself.
Please note that all Comfort Wellness houses are pet-free.
A maximum of 2 pets are allowed in other accommodations. You must specify this when booking. For the comfort of all guests, you are not allowed to walk your dog within the park grounds. You can enjoy walks with your furry friend right in the back of the park in the forest. If your dog happens to relieve itself in the park, please ensure you clean up after them.
For safety reasons, the lighting of fireworks at your holiday home on New Year's Eve is strictly prohibited. Fireworks may only be set off in the central parking lot near the reception.
For the comfort and safety of all our guests, adolescents and young adults under the age of 25 must be accompanied by at least one adult over the age of 25 during their stay. For bookings involving young adults, we reserve the right to request a deposit upon arrival.
Complimentary Wi-Fi internet access is available, though signal strength may vary. One free Wi-Fi code is provided per accommodation for a single device. Additional codes are available for purchase. Please note that the internet connection may not be suitable for online work or downloading large files and is best suited for messaging services.

A swimming pool is located a short distance from the park. Please note that there is an entrance fee for the swimming pool.
Arrival and Departure:
You are welcome to check in between 4 PM and 6 PM. During the low season, reception hours may vary, and early check-in might be possible upon request.
Check-out time is before 10 AM on your departure day.
If you anticipate arriving after 6 PM, please contact the reception in advance to arrange key collection.
Upon arrival, please check in at the reception to receive the keys to your accommodation.
