Makani Sands # 301 är ett rymligt hörn med 3 sovrum, 2 1/2 badhushus på 3: e och 4: e våningen, med en otrolig utsikt över havet. Detta vackra radhus är inrett i traditionell hawaiisk stil och har 3 kabel-TV, video / DVD, CD-spelare. Det finns ett komplett kök med en konventionell spis och mikrovågsugn. Det finns ett stort runt matbord för familjens måltider. Tillbringa några nätter hemma med att laga upp färsk fisk på vår BBQ vid stranden, eller slå dig ner och koppla av och tillbringa en dag med att sola ute. På övervåningen finns en king size-säng i sovrummet på havssidan med ett privat badrum, och en king size-säng i gäst sovrummet på bergssidan. Nedervåningen finns det ett tredje sovrum med två enkelsängar. Njut av en dag på vår snorkling, simning eller kajakpaddling precis utanför din dörr! Great Location

Makani Sands is a well-maintained property located right on the beach but close to a variety of restaurants and shops and just down the road from the largest of the Lahaina area resorts. The property managers are considerate and professional and insured a comfortable stay for us. Our unit was clean, everything worked, and had a great view of the ocean where we watched the turtles swim by and whales breaching daily.

Beautiful, Convenient Location

What an absolutely beautiful location. We enjoyed watching the whales from the two lanais and hearing the ocean waves at night.Being a corner unit, we had more light and better views from the lanais. The building is conveniently located within walking distance to a beach park and coffee shops and restaurants.

Maui family vacation

Condo is in a great location with wonderful views of the ocean. Property manager was excellent. She made check in and check out easy. Pool area and ocean front deck were perfect for enjoying the sunshine. Condo had everything we needed but could use some updating.

Maui Fun

The place is a great location, walking distance to so much. The view from the balcony’s are amazing. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Definitely, will recommend to friends and family and we will stay here again!

Sea turtles daily

Great to look out on the water and see turtles playing in the surf! The condo was clean and the a/c worked well, but the place could be updated (a bit dingy) and there was an electrical glitch in one of the bedrooms. Overall, a wonderful vacation.

Oceanfront rental

Great Location ! Ocean about 15 yards away. Enjoyed the 3 bedroom ocean front rental. Close to coffee shops, cafes and walking distance to the food trucks. The turtles pass through the water in front of our condo and see them clearly from the lanai, snorkeled with the turtles in front of our condo. Apartment is a little dated but very comfortable. Manager Tammy and Debbie were responsive to our needs and allowed us a little later checkout at 12:30 pm. I feel it offers great value to a family like us with 6 adults Mahalo !

Family celebration in paradise!

Location and view are 10/10! Numerous turtles along the rocks by the sitting area made dreams come true for family members to see them in the wild. Condo was overdue for pest control, roaches in the kitchen were abundant. Property manager was very responsive and offered another unit but we chose to stay and use raid, didn't see anymore. Toilet broke, was addressed first thing next day. Appreciate the immediate responsiveness. It was hard to keep the 2 guest rooms cool, master was easy to cool. Appreciated the nice beach towels readily available. Overall, we loved the view and accommodation of Property manager, unit is over due for some TLC. Even in current condition it's still a nice unit I would recommend but understand it's not a shiny new modern condo.

We Love Makani Sands!

We are a family of six and this Makani Sands location was perfect for our trip to Maui. The views from both balconies were amazing. We loved the beach / sitting area. We were very close to other beaches and restaurants, but we also did a lot of cooking and used the grills one night. The place has everything we needed. Our kids loved the heated pool and spent hours in it. The snorkeling right off the property was quite good. And the other residents are really nice. My step son saw one of them fishing one night, chatted with him, and then was told he could use the fishing pole any time! Someone else gave him some bait. He was in heaven. Great place to stay. Highly recommend it!

Perfect location for our group!

Front row seats to watching the whales and turtles right from the oceanside decks! The unit was clean and well-stocked with sheets, fluffy towels, and household items. A few items need repair, but we were very comfortable and happy. Walk to coffee shop, farmers market, and fish market. Supermarket a mile away. The bedrooms facing the street are a little noisy in the morning (traffic, roosters), but we got used to it after the first night. It was a great homebase location for our activities and day trips. We would come back!

Loved our stay

We loved our stay at Makani Sands! Yes the unit is a bit dated but everything was great. Nice big lanais with beautiful views. Enough space for our 4 adults & 2 kids without feeling cramped. My kids loved the pool! Provided snorkel gear was a bonus too. Snorkeling right out back was awesome, lots of turtles! Would definitely stay again!

Excellent Stay with Gorgeous View and Great Snorkeling

The place was very clean and very quiet. The stunning view was right on the ocean. I would leave the sliding door ajar as to fall asleep and wake up to the relaxing sound of the ocean and birds. This place has all the amnementies as well. Beach towels and bath towels for the whole family. Plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, full kitchen with all the plates, cups, and spices needed for cooking. Ice cube trays, dish washing soap and laundry detergents and fabric softener sheets as well. No need to pack all the extras! The decor was beautiful and beachy! I loved all the new upgrades! 2 and a half full bathrooms and great air conditioning worked well. A place I would definitely book again and again!

Cousins Get Away

In all, there were six of us in this rental and it provided us with plenty of room. We spent most of our time on one of two balconies watching whales and even saw some turtles swim buy. One of the turtles came up on the beach. There were some things we wish we had on site but overall it was great. We all said we would return.

We were called 5 days prior to arrival stating that the grass was tore up. Upon arrival it was more than tore up. Then we found out a 25% discount was given to all renters due to conditions and no beach access and we were not offered that. We paid over $4000 for the rental. You would expect top conditions all around for that price. Extremely disappointing in Manager Tami. I

Our family of five adults stayed in this unit in June, 2022. As other reviews have stated, some of the furnishings are a bit worn, but this was to be expected and overall we found everything to be above average is quality and condition. Keep in mind, with the volume of visitors right now, these units are rented non-stop. When it comes to the Makani Sands complex, we feel we made an excellent choice. It is a smaller property, so you park very close to the stairs and elevator. Also, the West Maui bus line has a stop right out front. That is not the case for 90% of condo complexes. You can avoid the parking mess at Whaler's Village and Lahaina by paying $1 or $2 to take the bus (it runs hourly). Be aware that you only have a sandy beach out front a few hours a day during low tide, but you are able to walk down and swim anytime. It is a great place to snorkle and there is equipment and couple of boogie boards out on the balcony. There are also ice chests in one of the bedroom closets (thank you). The unit has A/C, but even on 84 degree days, the breeze kept the whole house cool and we never even turned it on. Tammy in the office was a great resource and very helpful. Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay and can't wait to go back.
