This holiday home is located in Hummelgau, one of the most unspoilt and charming natural landscapes in Bavaria. Not far from the festival and university town of Bayreuth, it is the gateway to Franconian Switzerland. The region for nature lovers, hikers, cyclists, canoeists, caving enthusiasts and climbers. Families can still go on holiday here at a reasonable price and experience many things. The world is still in order here and the prices are very attractive. The natural regions of the Fichtelgebirge and Frankenwald, as well as the imperial city of Nuremberg and the World Heritage Site of Bamberg, are also in the immediate vicinity. Numerous castles, palaces, museums and leisure facilities invite you to visit.
The garden with barbecue, snack corner, lawn, rattan seating area and sun loungers for sunbathing are free to use. A heated hot tub is available for a fee in the spa area, along with a solar shower. A free car parking space is available in front of the door, as well as a second parking space for a fee. On request, it may also be possible to book a garage parking space for a fee. Mountain bike hire is also available.
This holiday home is a romantic gallery flat, approx. 55mÂČ living space, in its own detached house, without direct neighbours, with a separate entrance. The house was newly built in 2013 according to the latest energy-efficient standards / allergy guidelines. It offers a tasteful, upscale interior design in the living room, kitchen, bathroom and gallery. In addition to conventional heating, underfloor heating, a fireplace and infrared heating, the gallery flat naturally also has a hot water connection. The open-plan layout, with gallery, is suitable for up to four people. On the ground floor there is a garage and storage space for bicycles, while the living areas are located on the first and second floors. The walls are a traditional Franconian red colour, interspersed with natural wood from the region. The open-plan living and sleeping area on the first floor offers seating with a sofa bed, 1.40 x 2.00 m, fireplace, O2 TV streaming with Alexxa control, DVD player, laptop with high-speed Internet connection/WLAN and stereo music system. The kitchenette is equipped with a dining area, a hot-air electric cooker with grill function, a ceramic hob, a microwave, a fridge and a breakfast centre. The kitchen equipment and the dining area are designed for six people. In the living room there is a four-poster bed, 1.80 x 2.00 metres. In the gallery there is a further sleeping area, 1.80 x 2.00 m, which can be reached via a ladder in the open-plan layout. The living and sleeping area of the gallery flat can be air-conditioned. The heated bathroom is equipped with an XL shower, toilet and washbasin, as well as an eco washing machine. The floor is of course tiled. Bed linen and towels are provided. This is a house where smoking is not permitted. Enjoy the romantic atmosphere of this unique holiday home.
Smokers will find a corner to linger in front of the front door. From here you can start great excursions, hikes and cycle tours. The beer hiking trail with 5 breweries is in the immediate vicinity, as is the source of the Red Main and the R1 cycle path from Bamberg to Bayreuth. On the outskirts of Bayreuth, approx. 6 km, the Röhrensee zoo is an experience for young and old.
The location is ideal as a stopover for travellers passing through, well situated on the A9 Berlin-Munich motorway, around five kilometres away. And of course for holidaymakers and families who want to enjoy a romantic break. Excellent bus connections (3 lines) and shopping facilities (bakeries, butchers, restaurants, pizzerias, supermarkets) are available in the immediate vicinity.
