Modern and tastefully furnished seafront holiday apartment in Agios Ioannis Surfers beach - ideal for couples and families with kids

The house is on the surfers beach of Agios Ioannis. It's only 3 km away from Lefkada town. The place is not only a tourist attraction for kite and wind surfers but also for its magnificent colourful summer sunset. For these reasons there are quite a few bars, cafe and restaurants of good standard very close to the entrance of the property.

The place is also ideal for international weddings in Agios Ioannis little chapel. The little church was built in a rock at the corner of the same name bay around 1330 and is the oldest in the island.

The apartment occupies one side of a single storey detached house that is divided into separate units. It is about 32 m² in size plus a 8 m² maisonette level and comprises of the following rooms: A living room with a single bed as a sofa, and a flat screen TV. In the same room there is a fully-equipped kitchen with a double induction hot plate, a mini oven, a Nespresso coffee maker and a toaster. A mobile retractable table under the stairs can also be used as a dining table inside the house. The living/dining room is open plan to the kitchen and opens onto the sea view balcony. Next to the living area there is a bathroom with a shower. Next to the bathroom there is a bedroom which includes a king size double bed and a flat screen TV.

As the ceilings are very high, a 8 m² maisonette level has been created that serves as a second bedroom with a single sofa bed, which can be reached by a wooden staircase. An extra truckle bed under the sofa bed serves for an extra fifth person. The guests should always use the handrail and keep an eye on the ceiling height when they are on the mezzanine level.

The whole property is set in gated lawn gardens. Olive, pine and fruit trees bring dappled shade to the grounds. Only a narrow road separates the premises from the beautiful surfers’ beach of Agios Ioannis sparkling bay. The balcony and its spectacular view are offered every morning for your favourite café or in the evening for a chill out aperitif adoring the magnificent Ionian sea sunsets. A dining table normally for 4 guests, there is on the balcony. A gas and a charcoal barbecue is outside at the back of the house. A shower for use after swimming is outside the house door. Free chairs and umbrella for the beach. A big garden is behind the house for private sunbathing or for a basketball game. Finally, there is also a parking space for one normal car.

Extras: - French front windows - Insect screens all windows - Safe - Children toys and books. A baby cot / travel child bed can be added in the bedroom beside the double bed upon request. Free wifi code, security alarm code and gate's remote control handover during check in time. A rental agreement is signed between guest and owner on the arrival day.

Water sports (kite & wind) are just in front of the property. Kite and windsurf school close to the house. The place is also ideal for cycling. It is recommended to bring your bicycles. However, there are three bicycles for common use for all the guests of the property.
Extreme sports like paragliding over west beaches, scuba diving, horse riding could be arranged prior your arrival upon request.
