Short Lets by Proietti is a loft (a renovated barn) used as a short lets (tourist rental for short periods). In Rome but in the middle of the Roman countryside, it is located near the Via Aurelia parking and private garden with barbeque, washing machine, Internet, digital TV, smoke and carbon monoxide detector; gas detector; fire extinguisher; first aid kit; security card; safe.
Short Lets di Proietti is adjacent to a grove of oak trees, overlooking a valley, cultivated by the 'Nonno Luigi' farm (of which it is part). The structure is masonry with a wooden-beam roof. The floor is single, divided into: double bed area; lounge area with dining corner, digital TV, two single sofa beds. There is a well-stocked library. The kitchen area is separate from the living room and is equipped with a hob (5-burner cooker), oven, coffee maker, refrigerator, sink. The bathroom and shower are located to the left immediately after the entrance. The laundry area is outside the house, on the balcony.
Outside, Short Lets by Proietti has a long terrace on the grove side and an open-air veranda in front of the garden, where you can eat in summer or relax. A small garden, bordered by a wooden fence, is partly covered by fig trees. Beyond the garden is a barbecue area with a wooden and a marble table. Parking space is next to the garden or inside the farm. It is possible to visit the farm and buy its produce (vegetables), all of which must be without fungicides. By asking permission, guests can also harvest some vegetables themselves.
HOUSE RULES
1) TOURIST TAX: Tourist tax is collected directly by Airbnb for non-residents in Rome. Children under 10 years of age and other categories described below are exempt. PLEASE NOTE: Airbnb cannot differentiate between different age groups because the fee is different in each Italian municipality. Therefore, if you are charged a tourism fee that is not due (for example, if you have a child under the age of 11), we will give you a form to send to Airbnb for a refund of the tourism fee. The following are exempt from paying the fee - minors under 10 years of age; - sick persons and those assisting patients admitted to health facilities, at the rate of one accompanying person per patient. Parents accompanying patients under the age of eighteen are also exempt from the contribution. The patient or accompanying person must make a special declaration stating the patient's personal details and the reference period of the hospitalisation and/or healthcare services, which do not have to be specified in order to protect privacy; - personnel belonging to the State Police and other armed forces who stay overnight to carry out public order and safety activities, as defined in the Consolidated Law on Public Security and its Implementing Regulations
2) RESPECT for nature and rules of good manners.
3) NO SMOKING (only permitted on the patio, terrace and in the garden).
4) MEALS: as well as inside the house, also on the patio, terrace or in the garden (partly shaded by fig trees).
5) CHECK-IN at 2.00 pm; CHECK-OUT at 10.00 am. However, different times can be arranged.
6) SEND, 1/2 days in advance, a message regarding the estimated time of arrival.
7) Guest reception: one of the three hosts Angela, Carlo, Samuel.
8) Keys: handed over at check-in or in safety deposit box (self check-in)
9) DOCUMENTS: requested during check-in from each guest (including children), in order to comply with the regulations in force in Italy. Documents will be returned after a maximum of 30 minutes. The documents must contain: name, surname, place of birth, nationality, document number.
10) The manager is not responsible for goods and objects left unattended.
11) PARKING: in the vicinity of the short lets (outdoor garden) or in adjacent spaces that will be indicated.
12) TOURIST TYPOLOGY: Short lets, otherwise known as "short lets", or "tourist lease", is to be understood as the concession of a house, for a period not exceeding 30 days NOT in an entrepreneurial form. Therefore the services typical of hotels, holiday homes or bed and breakfasts, such as car rental, daily cleaning, are NOT offered.
13) ALLERGIES: the short lets is located within a farm, where vegetables are grown and farmyard animals, dogs and cats (occasionally present) are kept. Please let us know if there are any cases of allergies.
14) DAMAGE TO THE HOUSEHOLD: In case of unintentional breakage of furniture, please inform one of the hosts.
15) LIBRARY: There is a well-stocked library (in Italian) inside the loft. Guests are allowed to use it, with a request to rearrange the books as they were.
16) EVENTAL PROBLEMS: call one of the three hosts indicated in the "Useful information" panel inside the house.

17) ANIMAL SOUNDS: We would like to warn guests that, especially in spring and summer, typical country sounds can be heard on the farm, such as the chirping of crickets, the barking of dogs, the chirping of birds. Only occasionally - during the day, in summer - may the deterrents of moles and wild boars be heard
18) ANIMALS ALLOWED: a) All animals are allowed with the exception of CATS, whose safety could be at risk because of some dogs present on the farm; b) Guests are responsible for the custody of their animals and for any damage they may cause to animals, people or things; c) Guests are obliged to keep their animals inside the house or in the appropriate enclosure. In your presence you may also keep them in the garden area, taking care that the animal does not try to cross the fence. d) The manager does not accept any responsibility for failure to observe the above rules. Carlo, one of the managers and author of the text "Castel Di Guido, un luogo una storia" (Castel Di Guido, a place a story) will be happy to illustrate the naturalistic and historical-cultural peculiarities of the area. Castel Di Guido, or rather the ancient Lorium, is an area of ancient lineage. Excavations conducted by a team from the University of Pisa in the 1980s uncovered artefacts dating back 300,000 years. Castel Di Guido is located in the western area of Rome, a few kilometres from the Grande Raccordo Anulare. Bordering the municipality of Fiumicino to the west, it is crossed by the Via Aurelia. In Roman times, it became a favourite holiday resort for emperors and patricians. In the Middle Ages it was garrisoned by rural militia guarding the city of Rome. Today it is probably the last green lung of the Urbe. In the immediate surroundings are: the OASI LIPU nature reserve, where it is possible to go trekking, mountain biking, birdwatching, and hiking with a guide (booking required)
