En stor, lyxigt inredd fastighet, idealiskt belägen för semesteruthyrning, bara några minuter från gamla stan, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Cours Saleya Flower Market och stranden. Lägenheten badas i ljus, särskilt på morgnarna. Konstnärer som Renoir och Matisse lockades särskilt till detta område i Nice på grund av detta underbara ljus. Vardagsrummet är lyxigt utrustat med italienska marmorgolv. Det är modernt designat med en stor L-formad soffa, soffbord, matbord och stolar för sex personer. Det finns ett kök i amerikansk stil med elektrisk ugn, spis, mikrovågsugn, kaffebryggare, diskmaskin, kyl och frys och tvättmaskin. Vardagsrummet är utrustat med TV och hemmabio. Var och en av de två sovrummen har eget badrum och det finns också en separat toalett. Det är söderläge med boulangeries och alla nödvändiga shoppingmöjligheter inom några minuter. Det finns parker både på framsidan och bakom byggnaden, med Promenade des Arts på framsidan och två parker på Rue Foncet på baksidan, en med en lekplats för barn. Buss nummer 98 från flygplatsen tar dig till inom 2 minuter.

För att utarbeta ytterligare platsen - Det är en kort promenad med utsikt över Promenade du Paillon. Det är några minuter till Gamla stan och Place Garabaldi, där du kan njuta av ett brett urval av utomhuskaféer och restauranger. Placera Massena och gågatan ligger också bara fem minuter bort, liksom Promenade des Anglais. Situationen kan inte vara bekvämare för semester utan bil.

A great choice for exploring Nice

This is beautiful apartment located close to everything. A short walk to the promenade, restaurants and the beach. So very comfortable a d well appointed. We felt as though we were staying in a resort. Our host, Katherine was excellent and responded to our requests promptly and was very helpful. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a deluxe experience in Nice

Great location

My family and I had a lovely time staying at this VRBO. The flat was very centrally located, and we were able to easily walk to Old Nice and Promenade des Anglais.The hosts shared a lot of helpful information before our trip, and were quick to respond to any questions we had. They met us at the door when we arrived, and shared some more information about appliances in the kitchen. Overall, it was an easy, perfect stay!

Wonderful location in Nice!

Great location, close to old town, market, our favourite place to walk - the Promenade des Anglais! Very responsive property manager. A big attraction for us was the set up of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, which allowed us to comfortably have two friends to stay.Really nice community feel to the area, lovely family owned businesses and restaurants. Made friends with some locals. Lots of green space even thought we were in the heart of the city. We stayed for 4 weeks and loved it!

Great place to stay

The apartment was perfect for two couples 75+ with two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's very nicely situated close to the old town and the city center. There is a bus stop right outside on the street and the tram to the airport is only a couple of blocks away. We can recommend this place any day.

Fantastic apartment in central Nice near Old Town

This is probably the best VRBO I've stayed in so far. It's a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment with a full kitchen and living room. It's upstairs but there is an elevator. It was super clean and exactly as advertised. Mary was very helpful and responsive and Katherine was lovely when we met and she let me into the apartment, and even left us wine and snacks! It's in a great area in walking distance to Old Town. I would definitely stay here again!

Large apartment in perfect location

The owner and manager were both very responsive and there is a folder with tons of useful information. Just a few steps from Vieux Nice. Easy access to public transportation. Lots of light in the salon/kitchen of the apartment. We would love to stay here again.

Amazing apartment

This was our second visit to the apartment and yet again we had an amazing time. Walking back into the apartment was like home from home-the apartment is so comfortable and spacious. The location is superb, walking distance to all Nice has to offer, as well as a great base to discover the beautiful French Riviera. Thank you Katherine and Mary!

Magnifique

This set up could not have been more perfect for our family. The tram from the airport to the neighborhood was super convenient. The location is very close to the beach. Close to the Old Town. Close to Garibaldi Square. Close to several bus lines that take you all over the city. Best of all, the host was so helpful and informative. Rarely do you stay somewhere and the host provides so much information about how to get around and where to eat. It made our stay that much easier especially since it was our first time in Nice. What an amazing city. We will most certainly be back.

Great apartment in Nice!

We loved staying in this apartment! It has everything you need for a short or long term stay. Katherine greeted us upon arrival and gave us a thorough tour of the property. She was very responsive to us during our stay and made every effort to make sure that we had everything that we needed. The apartment is updated and centrally located. It's a short walk to all of the sites. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to beautiful Nice! Thank you Katherine and Mary!

Spacious, airy & quiet 2 BR apartment

This apartment was clean and conveniently located -- a quick walk across the Jardin Albert 1er and we were in Nice's old town. At the end of the day, we were glad to return to our quiet apartment. Large, light-filled living area with comfortable seating and a dining table. Each bedroom has its own 2 bathrooms -- a separate WC and a shower with sink. Beds are comfortable. There is a dishwasher, electric stovetop and a washing machine, but the kitchen workspace is a bit tight. Owner/manager was attentive and responsive. Recommend searching for on-street parking; it's so much cheaper than the parking garages!

Another amazing holiday staying at Mary's apartment

This is our third stay at Mary's apartment and yet again we had the most fabulous holiday!! As I have stated before the apartment is like "home from home" - it's so comfortable, with everything you need (dishwasher tablets, additional bedding, toilet rolls, dustbin bags etc) and plenty of space for a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 teenagers). The location of the apartment is just perfect - near the shops. beach, old town, transport links etc and within a very safe neighbourhood (the teenagers could come and go as they pleased). Mary is an excellent host, accommodating our date change due to our flight being cancelled, responding to questions quickly and efficiently. Katherine is an absolute gem, she is so helpful, with a wealth of knowledge of Nice and the surrounding area. I simply can't wait to go back :)

Best Location, Best Apartment

This is our sixth trip to Nice, 3 hotels and 3 rentals. This was by far the best of them. On a map you might wonder about the location, but you are five minutes (maybe 8 to the beach) from everything, and I mean everything. There were only two of us so we luxuriated in the space. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms,( plenty of towels and linens) a fully newly renovated kitchen with a large sitting area plus dining area. We made side trips to Antibes and Eze and had public transportation right at our doorstep. (1.50 euro to ride the bus as far as it goes (Monaco)) and we took the train, 15 minutes to Antibes. Mary and Kathleen (her local agent) a delight to work with.

Bright and spacious apartment in a central location

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment, it was centrally located and it made accessing the beach and old town very easy as well as a short walk to the bus, tram and Nice Ville train station. We did not rent a car or bikes during our stay and once we got up to speed on the changes with the transit (all new apps and schedules at the beginning of July 2023) we were able to navigate our way around without too much trouble. The apartment was clean and tidy and the abundance of fans was very welcome as it was very hot in Nice during our stay. The building is in good condition and the surrounding area seemed very safe, we routinely came back from the train station or beach late and never had any concerns. The full kitchen was well equipped and the clothes washer was very helpful when packing light and needing to wear clothes more than once on a trip. We would definitely stay at this apartment again in the future. Thanks.

Not a place for non-smokers

This apartment was mostly the same as advertised. The location is perfect in the city, and we didn't need a car to get to places. It's definitely convenient for travelers without a car. The one big disappointment is the the non-smoking policy. We needed a non-smoking apartment for our 6-month old baby and non of us smoke; however, there was a strong cigarette smell when we first walked in the apartment. We bought the febreze odor eliminator to spray all the furniture many times, but the cigarette smell always came back after we closed the windows. We stayed there for five nights, and we were aware of the smell the whole time. Other small issues such as broken shower head and low supply of hot water were not that big of a deal.

A gem in Nice

In spite of the "canicule" we thoroughly enjoyed our month-long stay in this lovely apartment. Prior to our arrival, communication with Mary, the host, was so easy that we already felt welcome even before the actual welcome by Katherine, the property manager. Previous guests have already written about all the great qualities & features of the apartment so we will just list our own best ones: 1. Location - 2 short blocks to Multari, the boulangerie where we bought our favorite baguette (la fendue) everyday. Below the apartment is an Italian deli that offered the best ready-made lasagna, a good selection of proseccos, salamis, & many other foods. Walking distance to Old Town, the port, the beach, Place Massena, Promenade des Anglais, tram s& bus tops, restaurants & bars. markets (Utile & Carrefour) 2. The Dyson air coolers were a blessing during this summer's heat wave! 3. The apartment's kitchen was fully equipped - so important during a long stay. Thank you, Mary & Katherine, for making us feel at home in Nice.

Beautiful spacious apartment in a fantastic location

We had a wonderful holiday in Mary's apartment in central Nice. it was spacious, light and airy, immaculately clean, well maintained and well kitted out. The local agents Kristof and Claire were great, met us on arrival, were available for answers to question during our stay, and organised taxis with kids seats for us. This apartment worked well for us with two young children, the lift to the door was great with tired little legs, pushchair etc. The agents had provided a high chair and toddler cot for us on request which made it all so easy. The location was excellent, just a couple minutes walk from the central shopping area in one direction, old town close by, public transport and supermarkets on the doorstep and best of all (if you have young kids) we could see two wonderful parks from the apartment windows with great toys and plenty of space for scooters. Also the fountains near place Massena provided hours of absolute joy for the children. We never seemed to have more than a 5-10 mins walk to get back home. Getting to the train station was also very easy by tram, enabling trips to Monaco, Eze and Antibes. Mary had also very thoughtfully provided her personal recommendations for local activities and restaurants which was extremely useful. We would love to stay here again if we return to Nice.

Light-filled comfort

Katherine welcomed us warmly upon our arrival (breakfast provisions, coffee, bottle of wine ;) and was always available for questions. What a sweetheart she is! This beautiful apartment is on the second floor (first floor in European terminology), in the corner of the building, thus windows on two sides. This means that Nice’s strikingly soft and beautiful light fills the apartment. The arrangement is open, with living/dining/and kitchen all sharing the well-designed large space. The furnishings are unusually comfortable for a rental and there is plenty of lighting for the evenings. There are two bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom including a deep tub/shower with excellent water pressure. The other bedroom has a shower and sink ensuite, with the toilet and sink just outside the bedroom door so it can serve as a guest powder room. The neighborhood is in restaurant heaven. Also, it is a short walk to the tram, which will zip you right from the airport (and sadly, back again) in a half hour. It is about a 5 to 10 minute walk to most everything else - Vieux Nice, Place Garibaldi, Place Masséna, the shopping-walking street Jean Medicin, the sea the glorious sea, outdoor markets and indoor grocery stores. My husband and I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We loved every minute of our time and cannot wait to return.

Wonderful Apartment in Perfect Location

We had a wonderful month stay in Nice and Mary's apartment is the perfect choice in the perfect location. Katherine is wonderful as well making sure we our arrival and exit went smoothly. Mary and Katherine provide you with so much helpful information about the apartment and Nice that you feel at home from the start. The apartment on the 1st floor with an elevator is roomy and comfortable with wonderful sunlight that streams in making it light and airy. So much of what you want to see in Nice is within walking distance or a tram ride away. You are a block from Promenade du Paillon, a wonderful walkway that takes you to Place Massena and to the Mediterranean in 10 to 15 minutes. Also closeby are grocery stores and restaurants and 10 walking minutes from Place Massena and shopping along Ave Jean Medecin. The old town, vieux Nice, is an easy access across Prom du Paillon with many restaurants and shops. My favorite was walking along the Promenade des Anglais and the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Always some entertainment to be had including piano players, singers, musicians and even a ballet class on Place Massena and Prom des Anglais. We like to travel by train when in Europe and the station was a short walk and tram ride away which made it nice when we traveled to surrounding towns near Nice. My husband and I fell in love with Nice and had a lovely relaxing time there. We hope to return to Nice and Marys apartment in the not to distant future. Thank you Mary and Katherine.

When I viewed the apartment for the first time, I walked from the flower market, passing the Palais de Justice on the way where the square was filled with atmosphere. After a short walk from the old town, I was shown into the apartment (the builders were renovating and at work). I walked into the sejour which was filled with light from four big windows. I looked out one of the front windows and saw the view - Tour St Francis and the hills behind. I then walked through the rest of the apartment and it was equally bright, yet totally private. I loved the fact that there were two double sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. The beautiful old building and the big double doors at the entrance to the apartment were all original. The lift was modern and the building felt good. I went outside and walked around the area and I saw there were gardens at the back at Place Wilson and Gardens to the front one street away. A patisserie with delicious breads and cakes was a few buildings up so I pictured fresh croissants each morning. There were lovely local cafes, a small supermarket, and a general village atmosphere. I felt the area was peaceful as it was slightly away from the tourist trail, yet within a few minutes walk from it.

The agent had many apartments lined up for me to see in my three day visit to Nice. I decided on Rue Gioffredo almost immediately, even though I went along to see all the others. I reserved the apartment at the end of that day's viewing as I found it to be so special I was afraid the next person who viewed would take it! I have been so happy with my decision. This apartment is all that I was looking for!

The apartment is completely private from neighbouring ones. It is so bright and the area is all that I would wish for - a village like atmosphere in a city, near all the main attractions and restaurants, so convenient to public transport that I only rented a car once - on my first trip after purchase. The cafes nearby are friendly and I always receive a welcome any time I visit. It is so peaceful in the area that I find, even on a short trip my batteries are instantly recharged. The gardens and squares in the area have a neighbourly atmosphere and are lovely to sit in, perhaps reading a book if one does not wish to go to the beach or the Old Town.
