Inside its walls, in the old Gothic chapel of Nossa Senhora do Castelo, you can find the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Conceição de Vila Viçosa, patron saint of Portugal, with its original image.There are several cities and towns around with historical and cultural interest, such as Évora, Vila Viçosa, Borba, Évora - Monte or Monsaraz.And also enjoy the Alentejo Wine Route.
