A well positioned apartment
The location is popular mainly with Spanish families, and the apartment is on the ground floor, so you do get to meet your neighbours. All of them were very nice, and fairly quiet. We enjoyed our time here very much and do intend to return as we have family who live nearby. We've spent a couple of years looking for a place to keep returning to and think this may be it.
The location is perfect, within short walking distance of lots of amenities (and obviously the beach), but a little out of the way, so you don't have much passing trade, night-time noise etc. It is at the top of the hill, not a big hill, and not really a problem for us, but big enough to put off those who have trouble walking, but it means for a ground floor apartment you get a pretty good view of the mar menor.
The apartment itself was clean, tidy, and well maintained and the air conditioning worked well. It was much bigger than we expected and we didn't feel crammed in, with a hallway, (which was handy for the pram) and a separate kitchen and living area. The high chair and travel cot we requested were set up on our arrival. We were provided with clean linen for the cot bed (which doesn't happen in the UK - not for us yet anyway!).
There were 2 pools to choose from, the larger one salt-water and one smaller one chlorinated. The play area needs a complete renovation.
The complex was kept immaculate, and the hall outside the door was cleaned 3 times the week we were there.
We will be back.
