The distance from the nearest cafes, bars, taverns , supermarkets and Ialisos beach is approximately 1 km. The area of Ixia combines everything; accessibility to the city of Rhodes, the beach which runs along its entire length and close proximity to the Rhodes International Airport.

During the summer season, it gets rather windy, which makes it ideal for Wind-surfing, Jet skiing, Water-skiing, sailing, parasailing etc. For those you that prefer to swim with larger waves, this location is the best!
