Great location and was perfect for our needs on this trip to Newport. We usually stay in a hotel. Would stay at again, especially if we were bring our dog. Had some frustration with the online ID verification process but all worked out in the end and the communication with the management was very responsive and helpful.

It really is just steps from the beach, the stairs down are right across the road. It is a bit of a trek back up, but it's a few minutes to historic nye beach if you can't do stairs!

Overall, we had a great stay. The location is hard to beat—you can literally walk across the street, head down the stairs, and you're on the beach. We also had a great sunset view between the two larger hotels nearby.For anyone traveling with dogs, the fenced backyard is a huge plus. We didn't leave our dogs out there unattended, but having a secure yard made the stay much easier.The only real downside was the cleanliness when we arrived. It looked like a husky or another long-haired white dog had stayed before us, because there were tufts of white dog hair on the broom and throughout the house. We definitely felt like we left the place cleaner than we found it.Aside from that, the stay was great. Excellent location, very dog-friendly setup, and easy beach access. With a little more attention to cleaning between guests, this would be a top-notch place to stay in Newport.
