Other leisure facilities: The holiday region Interlaken is know for its adventure sports, such as: river rafting, canyoning, bungee jumping, hang gliding and climbing in the rope park.If you really want to go high up, you must visit the Jungfraujoch, the highest railway station in Europe, weather permitting.Also recommended is a boat trip on the Thuner- and Brienzersee. Across the lake from Brienz is the Giessbach Waterfall with its grand hotel. In 14 sections the Giessbach descends 500 m. There is a beautiful riverside path that leads from Iseltwald to Giessbach or you take the ship. If you are interested in stalactite caves, visit the Beatushöhle with sculptures of stalactites and underground waterfalls.Visit with the funicular Interlakens local mountain, Harder Kulm, with its overservation deck.
