Beautiful property. Immaculately clean, and a lovely very private plunge pool. Perfect for cooling off everyday.The high ceilings give this property and really nice feel, and the neighbourhood is lovely. Really handy having a very well stocked supermarket just a 2 minute drive away.Would definitely stay here again!

Villa Vidalou is not just a rental property — it is our own favourite place in the world, and we only rent it out when we are not there ourselves. That way we know it is always in top condition.
Niels builds SaaS products and pushes his limits in Hyrox competitions. Danielle works as a nurse on the ambulance and competes as an equestrian at a high level. Together we bring precision, care and warmth to everything we do — including hosting. Guests genuinely feel welcome with us.
We treat the villa the way we want to be treated as guests: clean, well maintained, with attention to detail. When you book with us, you stay in a home that is truly loved.

Jan Thiel is one of Curaçao's most beautiful and sought-after neighbourhoods — safe, green and located on the southeast coast with direct access to the island's finest beaches. It perfectly combines the laid-back Caribbean atmosphere with the convenience of having restaurants, beach clubs and supermarkets just around the corner.
Villa Vidalou sits in Vista Royal, just a 2-minute walk from Jan Thiel Beach and Zanzibar beach club. Papagayo Beach Club is also nearby, and Willemstad — with its iconic colourful waterfront — is only 10 minutes by car. It is the ideal base to explore the island during the day and come home to your private pool and palapa in the evening.

First, the location. We are in Vista Royal — a quiet, residential part of Jan Thiel — yet Jan Thiel Beach and Zanzibar beach club are literally a 2-minute walk away. You get the peace of a private neighbourhood with the convenience of the beach right on your doorstep.
Second, the outdoor space. The villa was designed for outdoor living: a private pool, a spacious terrace, and a palapa where you can sit, eat and relax for hours. The constant Caribbean breeze makes it enjoyable at any time of day.
Third, the personal touch. This is our own home — not an investment property. We only rent it out when we are not there ourselves, which means it is always well maintained, properly stocked and genuinely cared for. We personally welcome every guest on arrival, and we are always reachable if you need anything.
Finally, the layout works for everyone. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms and space for up to six guests means families, groups of friends and couples all have plenty of room and privacy — without ever feeling cramped.
