Hi,
My name is Lisbeth. My husband Nikolaj and I have owned this wonderful cottage since 2018 and we have enjoyed many family holidays there with our three children. We would love to share that experience with you.
Located on the southern stretch of the West Coast, Skodbjerge is where the dunes are highest. There is plenty of space and beautiful nature for walking, running, bicycling, wind and kite surfing, paddle boards etc.
The beaches by Skodbjerge are wide with smooth white sand and clean water. For safe family friendly swimming, we also recommend the life guard supervised South Beach in Hvide Sande (Hvide Sande Syd-strand) at a distance of 9,5 km from our cottage. Life guards are on duty from late June until approx 20-August.
If you love fresh fish there are plenty of great options in Hvide Sande - both for eating out or shopping for a home dinner.

The cottage is located only 500 meters from the sea and is close to the fjord too. You donât have to cross any roads when you walk to the sea!
Large plot of land. Very undisturbed. Enjoy the calm!
It is an advantage with a car for getting to our cottage as there is not much public transportation on the West Coast. Once you are here, there are many options to rent bicycles (approx five kilometres away) and thereâs a great cycle trail ("Rute 1: Vestkystruten") running along the coast all the way from Nymindegab to SĂžndervig completely free from cars. In fact, you are also able to ride a bicycle undisturbed by traffic all the way around RingkĂžbing Fjord for 120 km. You will ride on a nice, smooth, dedicated bicycle path - kept away from traffic at all times. The local municipality is working hard to make the RingkĂžbing Fjord area one of Europe's top cycling destinations!
