Puerto Viejo de Talamanca is a charming, small coastal town located in the South Caribbean region of Costa Rica. The laid-back atmosphere and friendly locals make for a welcoming experience. COMMING AROUND / TRANSPORTATION
We want to make sure that our guests have the best experience possible during their stay, and that includes getting around and exploring the neighborhood.

If you're looking to get out and about, there are plenty of options for transportation. We have ample parking space available inside our fully fenced property. Additionally, if you're interested in exploring the area by bike, there is the bike rental shop Banana Bikes Rental close by where you can rent bicycles.

For those looking to venture further out, there are scooter and car rental options available in Puerto Viejo. This is a great way to see more of the area and all it has to offer. If you prefer public transportation, there is a bus stop about 1km away from our Airbnb, where buses leave to both direction of the main road. Also taxis and tuk-tuks are convenient options for getting around Puerto Viejo and the surrounding area. Most of the time they're readily available.
