The village is a good starting point for excursions in all directions: The Black Forest offers marvellous hiking opportunities in summer, while in winter the pistes and cross-country ski trails beckon. From the Kaiserstuhl, you can get a first impression of the impressive size of the Black Forest. For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, the Baden Wine Route offers the opportunity to take part in rural wine festivals and cheerful feasts. In neighbouring Alsace, you can enjoy a real tarte flambée with your wine and get a taste of France. Switzerland is also within easy reach.
