We rent a sunny and bright 2-room apartment for 2-3 people with 51 m2 on the 3rd floor.

 You enjoy two south-facing balconies with a wonderful view of the Piz da la Margna, Bergell and towards the Furtschellasbahn.

 The living room with south-facing balcony is furnished with a comfortable sofa, 1 spare bed, dining table and chairs, TV furniture, DAB radio,
 Equipped with wireless LAN.  The bedroom with double bed and cupboards with south-facing sunny balcony.

 In this apartment there is a well-equipped kitchen, a fridge with a small freezer compartment, an oven, dishwasher, enough crockery, glasses, cutlery and pans.

 For the cold days in winter there is also a nice fondue set and a raclette oven.


 The bathroom has a bath with shower facilities, a toilet and a sink.

 In the house there are garage spaces, a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.  A ski room is also available
 Disposal.  You can store all your ski equipment in this ski room.

 The village center is not far away and you have a shop "Volg" at Seglias where you can find everything you need;  Eat and shop for more.  You will find the post office in the middle of the village and directly opposite the ski school and the tourist information at Via da Marias 38. You will find various local shops and gift shops at this location.  There is also a Grond bakery in the village, where you can buy your fresh bread every morning and where you can also get little things in the restaurant.

 The bus stop is only a few minutes' walk from the holiday apartment and the Furtschellasbahn can also be easily reached on foot.

 In winter, the cross-country ski run passes directly in front of the Chesa Fortuna and gives you an easy access.  In summer, the cycle path also runs right next to the Chesa Fortuna.

Whether on the 580km (360 miles) of hiking paths strewn over all the mountains or by mountain bike along 400km (250 miles) of fabulous trails: the Upper Engadin offers a superb network of paths and trails amidst an unspoilt Alpine landscape and the inspiring lake plateau. Four flow trails on the Corviglia guarantee a perfect flow. Equally popular among sports enthusiasts are the Upper Engadin lakes; kiting, sailing, windsurfing, stand up paddling – the possibilities are virtually endless. The expanse of the inspiring high-lying valley can be experienced in a particularly striking way on the two 18-hole golf courses in Samedan and Zuoz. And besides the wide range of sporting options, visitors can take advantage of the first-class cultural activities on offer, such as a visit to a museum or to one of the numerous art galleries in the various villages.  


In winter, the ski areas of Corviglia, Corvatsch, Diavolezza and family friendly Zuoz invite ski and snowboard enthusiasts to revel in 350 kilometres (218 miles) of the finest powder snow. Cross-country skiers will find over 220km (137 miles) of perfectly groomed trails in the Upper Engadin and the side valleys. The winter hiking paths and cross-country ski trails on the frozen Upper Engadin lakes are characterised by their light, sunshine and space amidst inspiring Alpine scenery. Those who would like to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the snow-covered forests can explore the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever on 150 kilometres (90 miles) of winter hiking paths. Visitors who prefer to have everything in view, meanwhile, will delight in the breathtaking vistas on the panorama hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl.  


Families can bask in the Engadin sun during a ride in a horse-drawn carriage into the Val Roseg or Val Fex, or race down the mountainside into the valley on the winding, 4.2km (2.6 mile) long toboggan run on Muottas Muragl.

Location description: Sils – an enrichment for the body, mind and soulSils is a place overflowing with life energy; this can actually be scientifically measured. But why bother when you are anyway guaranteed to fall under the spell of the landscape at first sight? Writers such as Nietzsche, artists like Beuys, and musicians such as David Bowie drew inspiration from the wonderful open spaces and the magical light here, and each played a considerable role in establishing Sils as the cultural centre of the Engadin. These days – with good reason and not without a sense of pride – both local inhabitants and guests from all over the world describe Sils as a place abounding in life force and natural earth energy. For particularly high values on the Bovis scale – the life force index – have been measured here. Nestling idyllically between Lake Sils and Lake Silvaplana, the village lies at the gateway to the romantic Fex Valley and is the perfect starting point for walks through this wide open, light-flooded valley. From the Furtschellas, you can get higher still in no time at all – on the Corvatsch, home to the highest summit station in the Eastern Alps (3303m/10,836ft). And from here, 120 kilometres (75 miles) of challenging pistes lead back down into the valley.
